Cal’s Scale of Hardness – Rd. 17

GREEN. RED. TABLES. All scales have been updated for the week ahead.

DEFENDERS

Easy As

Tom Stewart’s next two games don’t get any easy than this. Both are away from home though but that shouldn’t both him. Salem ans his Demon defenders have a nice little run coming up as well. He has averaged 94 in his last three this year and should be sitting much higher by the end of the season.

Hard As

Brodie Smith scored us a 90 on the weekend, but his time is coming to an end as he meets three tougher teams in the next three weeks. The Gold Coast Suns are now listed as the hardest team to score against since round 10. In fact, during this time, no MID/DEF has scored over 100 against them. Houli (75) failed last week and lets not forget Jake Lloyd’s 48 two weeks ago.

MIDFIELDERS

Easy As

I said it last week and I’ll say it again – Andrew Gaff. Those green colours speak for themselves and if he isn’t in your team then make it happen asap. Rockliff has a nice couple coming up as does Taranto. With Kelly’s recent calf injury, he should be stepping up in a big way. Zach Merrett also has a nice run coming up, if he is fully over his little concussion issue from round 16.

Hard As

If you haven’t moved on Angus Brayshaw, now is certainly the time. He has a tough run coming up as does Clayton Oliver.

RUCKS

Easy As

Many moved Gawn on last week but you need to work out away to move him back in. His run over the next four weeks is awesome, providing he has fully recovered from is ankle issue. He meets English this week, a guy Grundy scored 168 and 153 against this year and even two weeks ago, Lycett had 140.
