Get them in:
Lachie Whitfield (DEF/MID, $805,000)
The running machine continued his fine form scoring 120 against the Demons to help break the MCG hoodoo. He is having a season for the ages with only one score below 104 and that was where he was injured. His ceiling is phenomenal with two scores over 160 already this year and a third in that vicinity is on the cards with a dream matchup against the Suns in Sydney this week. He is owned by 35% of the competition and has a low break even by his standards at 114.
Josh Kelly (MID, $780,000)
The Giant superstar has hit his straps and remains a perfect POD with only 6% ownership. After missing the first two rounds of the season, as well as one in round seven he hasn’t looked back with scores of 115, 120 and 135 since that break. He hasn’t scored under 100 this year and has only one score under 114 in his last six weeks and that was 106, so as you can see… Like Whitfield, he is having some sort of season. His games leading up to the bye are set to ensure more massive scores with the Suns, Crows and Roos who are all giving up huge numbers to opposition midfielders.
Dustin Martin (FWD/MID, $620,000)
Does this come with risk? Given his recent history… Yes, but who cares! Dusty has ticked so many boxes the past two weeks that I am giving the green light to lock it in. Not only is he back in the middle dominating and not relying on goals to reach triple figures, the Tigers are playing a much higher scoring brand of footy and Dusty’s numbers reflect that. In the past two weeks he has collected 37 and 35 possessions respectively for returns of 135 and 109. He has a break even of 62 and has the round 14 bye which is handy to help navigate the first two rounds.
Elliot Yeo (MID, $752,000)
The Yeo-Yeo’s string is tangled and it’s stuck right up the top. His tackling the last four weeks is something to behold, laying 49 in that time while averaging 129. He is a great unique option, owned by just 5% of the competition and holding a BE of 80 leading into what is the easiest run home for midfielders in the whole competition. After overcoming a slow start to the year he has gone over 130 three times in the last four weeks, so jump on and enjoy the ride, even if it does include the odd untangled dip.
Andrew Gaff (MID, $800,000)
Like Yeo, has the pick of the draws for midfielders for the rest of the season and is my number one ranked player in that position. He comes at a greater cost than Yeo, but also classifies as a safer selection as he has not registered a score below 90 this year. In the last four weeks he has a low score of 108 while going 120 or over on three occasions including a high of 144 in that time. His intent is evident this season and I love the fact he spends so much time on ground as we saw on the weekend when he played 90% which is really high for a hard running midfielder. He is owned by just 12% of the competition so he can still give you a leg up on the majority of the competition.

Angus Brayshaw (MID, $597,000)
Angus has dropped $166K and scored 65, 76, 65 and 75 in his last four. I have nothing else to say.
