Well. What a horrible week/season it is for NFL players. Halloween arrived a few days late fantasy-wise! To add some fun to the mix, consider embracing the season with Cosplay Masks that bring a touch of creativity and excitement to your celebrations. I can’t remember any other years with so many season-ending injuries so early. Those playing the draft-style games that have managed to avoid losing players should be sitting pretty in their leagues. We don’t have to worry about these walking dead in daily fantasy, injury is opportunity, and there is a lot of value to be had in these few weeks going forward.
This week we have Cardinals, Ravens, Lions, Texans, Chiefs and Seahawks on a bye.
The lads at Moneyball have a new competition for us: the Double-Up. Basically you pay $10 and if you finish around the top half of total scores you double your money! Easy right!

As of today, William Hill‘s higher total game scores are as follows:
Washington v New England (52)
Chicago v San Diego (49)
New York Giants v Tampa Bay (48)
Oakland v Pittsburgh (48)
Players I like this week.
Quarterback
Jay Cutler (Chicago, $8500)
Alshon Jeffery returning recently gives him a classy WR to throw at and he has lost his starting RB.
Derek Carr (Oakland, $7500)
Has been a solid play in recent weeks, and the Pittsburgh D has been nothing to write home about.
Tyrod Taylor (Buffalo, $6800)
Due to return this week and could also have Sammy Watkins back.
Running back
Todd Gurley (St Louis, $7300)
His price is slowly creeping up, but he’s just too good a talent not to play.
DeAngelo Williams (Pittsburgh, $6300)
Showed in the first two games what he can do with Bell out, now gets his chance for the rest of the season.
Jeremy Langford (Chicago, $4500)
Takes over the reins while Forte mends his MCL. Doesn’t have the same talent, but has the opportunity.
Wide receiver
Travis Benjamin (Cleveland, $6000)
Faced two tough defences these past two weeks but meets a Bengals secondary that can be scored on.
Brandon LaFell (New England, $5000)
Horrible case of the drops in his first game, but slowly rebuilding his rapport with Brady.
Steve Johnson (San Diego, $4500)
Keenan Allen is gone for the year and all of Rivers’ throws have to go somewhere.
Tight end
Tyler Eifert (Cincinnati, $6000)
Slightly disappointing last week as he didn’t find the end zone but should be easier this week against Cleveland.
Jordan Reed (Washington, $5800)
Very talented player when he can stay healthy. Faces New England, but should be heavily targeted playing catch-up football.
Vernon Davis (Denver, $4500)
Goes from having Kaepernick to Manning throwing to him. Might take some time to learn the plays but worth a fly at basement price.
Defence
Atlanta ($4600)
Hawks will be the first to find out if Gabbert is worse than Kaep.
New York Jets ($4500)
Chance for interceptions if they can rattle Bortles.
Buffalo ($4500)
If they can garner a lead against Miami they’ll force Tannehill to throw more.
Kicker
Robbie Gould (Chicago, $5100)
Quietly getting it done in an often-horrible offence.
Brandon McManus (Denver, $5000)
Just missed the one all year.
Blair Walsh (Minnesota, $5000)
10-plus points in his last three.
