LEGENDS – Arggg me hearties, welcome back to Calvin’s Captains – written by “greatest captain picking pirate” in all of the land. This week is the final week of the bye rounds and it’s time to hit the ground running and there is nothing better than hitting a huge captain – and even a 150!

A little hit and miss from the pirate last week – personally, I went with Dawson VC and then rolled it into Sheezel. A popular move that we can’t be too grumpy with. Congrats to those who went with Nick Daicos… I have a feeling a few more will be joining you again this week – Good luck everyone.

OTHER POPULAR NAMES
Lachie Whitfield – Whitfield loves the MCG and loves playing the Hawks. At the MCG in his last three he has scored 111, 127 and 132 but the flag here is… all those games were against the Demons and Tigers. Against the Hawks though he has dominated with 87 (OR), 121, 120, 137 and 123. Role?
Luke Jackson – Witts and Moyle rank #5 hardest for Rucks to score against but as we know… Jackson does it all over the ground. The flag on his 166 last week was the fact it was against the Cats. Easy easy easy.
Noah Anderson – Anderson has been elite averaging 118 in his last five games, but my confidence in captains this week runs out here. Freo are still the #1 hardest for MIDs to score against and my confidence is low on his this week despite his form.
Isaac Heeney – Not sold on this. Had 65 on these guys in round 1 with 114 and 103 last year. Lions at the GABBA after a bye could be scary and only one MID has hit 100 against them in their last three games.
Zak Butters – Peatling was good tagging Kosi Pickett (53) last week, so you’d expect that to happen again here. Butters has a highest score of 103 in his last four games and copping tags in nearly all his last few games.
Zach Merrett – Tagged by O’Sullivan in round three to 71 and will cop it again. He’s playing down back though… so will that effect things? North are tricky to score against – Not worth the risk.
