Arggg me hearties – welcome back to another Calvin’s Captains for the round ahead. There are some absolute rippers to choose from this week but before we get our hands dirty with the best picks for the week – we better glance over how I went with my top-10 from round 14.

Pretty solid effort there by the pirate this week with seven of my top-10 captains hitting 110-plus. What a legendary effort – fingers crossed things go to plan in round 15, because if they do – we could see a couple of big scores… pushing 140-plus.

Let’s have a couple of words on some of the other popular options who just missed out on the top-5 for this week. These are still players to consider, some have flags and others… we’ll you can judge for yourself.
Bailey Dale – He had 127 and 112 against the Saints last year and 160 before that. Saints are #2 easiest for DEFs.
Nick Daicos – Port are his hardest team to score against with 95 last year… and 95 and 86 before that. Drew tags.
Luke Jackson – 125 against the Cats in round 1 but his form is horrible with 95, 72, 93 and 70. Should bounce back.
Christian Petracca – 71 and 70 – not good enough. Did have 106 against the Hawks in round 6. Should be better!
Tristan Xerri – Loves playing against the Tigers with previous scores of 165, 155 and 150… all against Nankervis.
Marcus Bontempelli – Good record against the Saints over the last two years, could cop a tag here and form has been down.
