Thursday June 23- Update
Unless you were living under a rock since its been all over the news, you’d already know that Jordan De Goey has taken personal leave for an unknown timeframe. We knew Joel Jeffrey was injured, but its been confirmed unfortunately he’s out for the season. Also a reminder that we have a weird Firday double header, which has caught out a few coaches in previous rounds. Glenn Archers son, Def rookie Jackson Archer will debut for the roos. Earlier reports were for Dangerfield playing, but he is now confirmed to miss another week.
Wednesday June 22 – Early news
Teamsheets for Thursdays Dees vs Lions have dropped! No more Bye rounds (yay!) but boy oh boy how much carnage did we have. Rookies falling over left right and centre with Brett Turner, Calb Marchbank, Sam Durdin, Reef McInnes, Joel Jeffrey, Ryan Angwin, James Peatling, Daniel Turner, Brynn Teakle, Mitch Owens, Hugh Dixon, all injured over byes and all likely out this week. Even Owens who was 1 week concussion protocol appears to continue likely to miss. Preuss is definitely reported 1 week, but is likely returning next week boyed by the fact Flynn is out injured. On top of that, adding to ruck carnage, Preuss managed to take both himself and English. English with concussion protocols is technically available after 1 week, but with a history of concussion could be out longer. Tough call on who to hold if you have both. It has also been confirmed that Zorko will miss this week. Also Parish is no guarantee to return for the bombers. One bit of good news though, we will see a returm of Uber premium Jack Steele for the saints this week.
