33 games in 20 days and a new round starting the day after the previous round finishes… Let’s goooooooooooooo!
Get them in!
David Swallow (FWD/MID, $693,000) BE 47: The Sun mid has turned back the clock and is arguably in career best form. He has made the most if his increased mid time with Rowell out and his scores reflect that with three 90s in his last four.
Andrew Gaff (MID, $780,000) BE 76: The ball magnet’s price has bottomed out and he is about to make the most of three games at his favourite ground against teams that give up plenty of points to midfielders. He took 11 marks and score 126 on the weekend.
James Sicily (DEF, $675,000) BE 42: After a shocking 36 in round five, the Sic Dawg has been on fire and now presents as an under priced premium option in the back line. His marks are up and he has scored 114, 88 and 95 in his last three. Slight flag is that he swung forward late in the game and kicked a goal… You know what happens when he plays forward.
Zac Bailey (DEF/MID, $507,000) BE 18: Owned by 6% of the competition, the young Lion provides a stepping stone option for a back line upgrade. Its an attainable move for coaches looking to offload the likes of teammate Starcevich and he is averaging 9 marks a game in his last two with 96 and 85 respectively.
Clayton Oliver (MID, $819,000) BE 54: The Dees star has hit top form after a solid but not sensational start to the year. He has elevated his game the past two weeks with scores of 116 and 125 which are both season highs and he has the bonus of just 4% ownership.
Roughy:
Zach Merrett (MID, $750,000) BE 59: At his best, the Bombers ball magnet is one of the most prolific scorers in the game. In the first seven weeks of the season, he managed to hit triple figures on just one occasion before going bang on the weekend against the busted witches hats with 138. Its the best individual effort of any player so far this year.
Must have:
Jake Lloyd (DEF, $773,000) BE 65: Some players are just at a level well above anyone else in their position, which makes them a must have. AhhhhhhLlllloyd is one of them. He scored a nice 115 on the weekend to demonstrate his ceiling
YOU… Get the chop!
Marlion Pickett (MID, $380,000) BE 21: Looked disinterested last week and his score reflected that. Still has a low BE but cash in early if it converts to a premium upgrade.
My Trades
No idea at this stage but I want Pickett, Starc and Bennell off my ground ASAP. I can’t take it any more.

Thought Sidebottom would be the must trade in, this week

Why? Collingwood has a bog fwd line so sidey will no doubt play more fwd then anything which will effect his score

I’ll keep Cripps for another week because I need to part company with Pendles, probably to Gaff.
Also Rozee has to go! One of the worst buys I’ve ever made. Has done nothing.
Change him to Whitfield or Petracca?
Belly

You need both ASAP so whoever you prefer, Whitfield has the lower BE so I’d go him first
Andy

I’m going Petracca. Whitfield, although a brilliant player, can’t handle it with his slight frame when the opposition decide to smash him. He’ll be injured again soon, no doubt.

Thoughts on Zorko? 150k down on starting price. Usually a 105-110 premium. 630k, cheap as. Been a top 8 mid before

Best trades
1. Budarick, Bennell and Taylor to Zorko, McPherson and Close
Or
2. Michael Hibbard, Taylor and Goldstein to Zorko, McPherson and Grundy?
1 or 2

Thoughts on Duncan? Never cops the tag, and has played 20+ games the last 4 years where he’s averaged over 100 3 times, including a 112 season..
Apart from his injury game, his lowest score is 73 (91 BCV) with a 91.5 average (114 BCV)..
I can’t reach Zerret/Jelly/Gaff/Macrae without trading out Serong, so Duncan is in for me at the expense of 1 of the Mc’s (Inerney/Henry)

Yeah, this is exactly the same as me. I can only get Gaff by getting rid of Simpson or Serong, so getting Duncan by getting rid of McInerney.

Keen to get Steele FrontBum in but it means I have to trade a semi-premo. Who would you trade out of Simpkin, Houston or Crisp?

I don’t know your team obviously, but work on non-players to cash cows, then rooks to mid/prems.. but Crisp to answer your question. Decent run or not, this season he’s been off. Houston and Simpkin should be better, Houston has a good run and Simpkin was tagged so shouldn’t repeat 44 imo.

No talk about Callum Mills? Very hard done by.. he’s been on fire and with their outs at present he looms as a good prospect imo. BE 53.
Is there something I’m missing here?

My Pathetic Team is
Doch, Maynard, Houston
Crisp, Noble, E-Smith (St’vich, Williams)
Macrae, C’lio, Titch, D Smith
Wingard. Tucker. Pickett. Simpson (Bennell, McHenry)
Grundy. Jacobs (Cameron)
Patracca. Simpkins. B Smith
Br’shaw. Taylor. Rankin (King. Buderick)
(Porter)
Trades
Out
Maynard, Tucker, Jacobs
In
Z Bailey, Libba, Witts
Reason Im bringing in Libba is because I read somewhere someone say last year that Libba was a good choice and can make money which normally means that person could go ok the next year plus I know he is playing tonight and he has beaten his BE every week. Plus last 3 weeks he has gone 71, 81, 71 which is ok for his price.
