Roy’s Trade Talk – Finals Week 1

There is going to be plenty of premium carnage in week one of the Finals, so be ready to reverse trades, but until then, here are a few blokes worth considering.

Cow:

Luke Partington (MID, $167,000) is your pick of the downgrades this week after a solid debut with a score of 64 from 18 touches and a goal. He played a team low 68% game time and may come into play as cover for Dangerfield in his game against the Saints. Hopefully he gets a bit more clock!

Hot Pies:

Steele Sidebottom (FWD/MID, $598,000) has one score under 100 in his last 11 games and is ripe for the picking given he has slipped under 600K. It is astonishing to think he is still only owned by 12 per cent of the competition despite the superstar’s forward status. He is coming off a solid 116 from 33 touches and would be a nice addition to any team for the finals.

Adam Treloar (MID, $571,000) is currently down $102,000 on his starting price and a great option after averaging 111 in his last three following 119 on the weekend. His draw isn’t awful and coaches should receive instant reward with a game against the Roos. His BE is 98 and he won’t be this cheap again this year.

Value Premium:

Robbie Gray  (FWD/MID, $464,000) backed up his score of 101 a couple of weeks ago with a 98 confirming his move to the midfield is going to be positively reflected in his Fantasy scoring. His 31 and  27 possessions are well up on his season average and he has the easiest run home I have ever seen which includes games against the Pies, Dogs and Suns.

Dayne Beams (MID, $524,000) is the bargain of the competition after going back to back 140’s following a bottom out in price as a result of injury. He has a great draw to finish the season with three games at home while carrying a BE of just 34 into this weeks game against the Dogs.

Form POD:

Luke Dunstan (MID, $463,000) People keep asking me for a cheap POD on Twitter and although I am not a fan of chasing them, here is a bloke that has been going ok since returning to the team. In the last two weeks Dunstan has scored 107 and 116 respectively and is owned by less than 1% of the competition while carrying a BE of 54.

As always, use the comment to discuss your trade ideas in the comments, I’m currently:

Blakely to Docherty

JPK to Beams

Holding Danger to be covered by Greenwood.
