Moneyball’s $5000 Sunday Funday

Does you Classic team suck? Or do you just want to win some cash? Either way, Roy’s here to help.

Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) is one of the fastest growing games in Australia. Our mates at Moneyball are the leaders in the industry and run many different formats, including competitions for every AFL game across the season.

POOL $5,000 with $650 for 1st,  2nd receives $310 and so on right down to $34.18 for players in 89th place.

Starts: Sunday 1.10 pm

Includes:
Swans v Lions
Demons v Hawks
Dockers v Bombers

Isaac Heeney (FWD, $6,500) is probably the easiest selection on the Sunday slate. He looked outstanding last week while attending the second most centre bounces for the Swans on his way to 26 touches, seven marks and six tackles for 122. He has a friendly matchup against the Lions and should score well again.

Claye Beams (DEF, $5,500) is one of the cheap plays of the day which will allow you to spend up elsewhere. Last week the Swans gave up over 300 points to Docherty and Simpson playing across half back and that is where Beams has been playing for an average of 80 over his last three.

Joe Daniher (FWD, $7,200) Freo are one of the worst teams for conceding marks to opposition players and Daniher is averaging over 10 a game over the last three weeks. During that time he has scored 98, 101 and 110, so if he can find his kicking boots, a huge score is just around the corner.

Lachie Neale (MID, $9,800) From week to week it has been hard to tell if Neale is back to his best, but for this price, we take the punt with his huge ceiling in mind. Over the last few week he has knocked up impressive scores of 114 and 119 and when you consider he has scored 131 and 126 in his last two games against the Bombers, he is a walk-up.

Buddy Franklin (FWD, $8,700) Is a great price for someone of his potential, especially when you consider the matchup at home against the Lions. Over the last few year the Lions have developed a bit of a reputation for giving up points to key forwards and that was on display last week when Charlie Dixon kicked four goals and scored 125. Buddy had five on them last year and will be very good.

My shout team!

Ben McEvoy (RUC, $7,300) is a name I thought I would never mention again in any form of Fantasy format, but he has forced it out of me. Firstly, he has a great match-up with Cameron Pederson who allowed Tom Bellchambers to score 91 last week. Secondly, he is in awesome form despite the Hawks performing poorly with scores of 101, 123 and 103. He will be in for another big day.
