Picks for Thursday 11th February 2016:

POINT GUARD:

Damian Lillard (POR) – $8,700

Opponent – Houston Rockets
Average for season – 37.1 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 44.9 Fantasy Points

Against the Fantasy Point-friendly Rockets Lillard should have plenty of opportunities to put up some big numbers.

Rajon Rondo (SAC) – $8,700

Opponent – Philadelphia 76ers
Average for season – 37.3 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 44.6 Fantasy Points

Rondo has been putting up some great numbers of late and that shouldn’t change against the bottom of the table 76ers.

Derrick Rose (CHI) – $6,300

Opponent – Atlanta Hawks
Average for season – 25.3 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 43.2 Fantasy Points

Rose’s price has increased dramatically over the past week but he is still providing great value.

SHOOTING GUARD:

CJ McCollum (POR) – $7,700

Opponent – Houston Rockets
Average for season – 32.2 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 33.4 Fantasy Points

Along with his backcourt mate, McCollum should put up some good numbers against the fast paced Rockets.

Kobe Bryant (LAL) – $6,300

Opponent – Cleveland Cavaliers
Average for season – 26.0 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 34.9 Fantasy Points

In his last game against LeBron James, Bryant will be keen to show everyone who is the King.

Rodney Hood (UTA) – $5,900

Opponent – New Orleans Pelicans
Average for season – 22.8 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 24.4 Fantasy Points

With his great play of late Hood could be pushing for the Most Improved Player award.

SMALL FORWARD:Β

LeBron James (CLE) – $10,500

Opponent – Los Angeles Lakers
Average for season – 44.2 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 45.7 Fantasy Points

Similar to Kobe Bryant, LeBron will be up for this epic duel and will be keen to show he is the best at his craft.

Kawhi Leonard (SAS) – $7,400

Opponent – Orlando Magic
Average for season – 35.8 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 36.9 Fantasy Points

After a fairly long lean patch Kawhi has stepped it up a notch and is back to some early season form.

Stanley Johnson (DET) – $4,700

Opponent – Denver Nuggets
Average for season – 16.7 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 29.8 Fantasy Points

With increased minutes comes increase opportunity and Johnson has grasped that with both hands since Caldwell-Pope went down with injury.

POWER FORWARD:

Pau Gasol (CHI) – $9,300

Opponent – Atlanta Hawks
Average for season – 38.2 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 44.4 Fantasy Points

With Butler on the sidelines for a month Gasol will have to step it up on both ends to keep the Bulls in the Title hunt.

Zach Randolph (MEM) – $6,000

Opponent – Brooklyn Nets
Average for season – 26.2 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 32.6 Fantasy Points

With Gasol on the injured list with a broken foot Randolph will be asked to take on the main frontcourt duties which should equal increase productivity.

Jerami Grant (PHI) – $4,700

Opponent – Sacramento Kings
Average for season – 20.1 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 26.4 Fantasy Points

In what should be a very free-flowing game against the Kings look for Grant to contribute across the board and put up some decent value.

CENTRE:

Dwight Howard (HOU) – $8,300

Opponent – Portland Trailblazers
Average for season – 33.4 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 32.6 Fantasy Points

All year the Trailblazers frontcourt has given up huge numbers to the opposing Centre – expect this game to be no different.

Gorgui Dieng (MIN) – $6,100

Opponent – Toronto Raptors
Average for season – 22.2 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 34.5 Fantasy Points

Another who has benefited from increased playing time, Dieng should provide great value against the short-handed Raptors frontcourt.

Willie Cauley-Stein (SAC) – $3,900

Opponent – Philadelphia 76ers
Average for season – 15.3 Fantasy Points
Average for last 3 – 21.8 Fantasy Points

If big Willie can contribute 20+ Fantasy Points he will be great value at his basement price.
