Roy’s Trade and Rolling 22 Talk – Rd. 15

Roy has the trade advice you need following the bye rounds.

Get them in:

Jack Macrae (MID, $726,000)
The loss of Libba has injected Macrae back into the middle and his scores reflect that two thumping weeks. He backed up last weeks 140 with a season high 180, a far cry from what we saw in the two weeks leading up to his bye where he scored 77 and 69 where he also managed just one 100 point game in a six week stretch. He is cheap considering form and has a break even of just 55.

Caleb Daniel (DEF/FWD, $667,000)
The running defender had a two game slump back in rounds six and seven when he could only manage a score in the 60s. Well that seems a long time ago as he hasn’t dropped under triple figures since then and is coming off a score of 135. He is a bargain with a break even of 63 and has the bonus of low ownership at just 14%.

Luke Parker (MID, $755,000)
The star Swan flicked a switch in round five and hasn’t looked back. Since then he has dropped under 100 on just two occasions and one of those was 99. He has hit triple figures in his last five games and that includes scores of 131 and his most recent 157. He faces the Suns this week with a five game average of 124 and my favourite stat is his low ownership of just 2%.

Patrick Naish (DEF, $245,000)
The young Tiger has made a great start to his career and is the pick of the downgrades this week. He is averaging 74 and has a break even of -13 with favourable match ups against the Saints and Suns in the next two weeks. Having good emergencies and cash cows are worth paying up for in the run home if you miss them at their basement price.

Dan Hannebery (MID, $455,000)
Made his long awaited debut for the Saints and it was certainly worth the wait as he smashed out 103 despite playing low time on ground, which you would think will increase by the week. He increased by $21K but is still great value with a BE of just 41. It is a viable move for cash starved coaches trying to get a rookie out of their midfield.

You… Get the Chop

James Sicily (DEF, $611,000)
Alistair Clarkson has decided to experiment with the Sic Dawg up forward and we all know how that ends. If we are talking emojis, its the vomit sick over the hang loose sick before the Dawg. Now I think you should actually hold because there is no way they can play him forward again, it’s horrendous. He has a BE of 131 and will be a nice bargain once he bottoms out and settles in down back.

My Trades

At this stage my trades O Baker to Snelling and Duurs to Laird.
