🏴☠️ CALVIN’S CAPTAINS – Rd. 10 (2016)
Here is a link to an old Calvin’s Captains article from round 10, 2016. Ten years ago! The top-5 for that round was as follows…

So how did they all go – Riewoldt pumped out a 136 … GWS Heath Shaw sucked for 80… Montagna was solid with 123…. Neale not so good with 104 and the old favourite Matt Priddis struggled with 90. So you might even say that I’m slowly getting better over time… go check out the main artcile NOW (it’s free remember)

Fuck you
A free article is two clicks away buddy
VC Baz it is!
Dang, I should have gone to Baz. Geelong is more restricted to MIDS, more like it, lol
I originally had Butters VC and Roberts C. When I realised Nas was missing weeks, I rolled my team back to change my trades but forgot to reselect my VC and C. Throughout last night’s game, I was spewing that I had not VC’d Baz, until the last quarter when I found out he was my C. Lucky for once.
Haha how nice it is to be kissed!
Yes, very happy with Baz as VC
So instead of writing how great the Patreon is, and then provide nothing useful after that, why didn’t you just cut n’ paste it straight from the AFL site?
Allow me:
Calvin’s best captainsNo.1 – Archie Roberts v Walyalup @ the MCG, SUN 1.10pm AEST
Coming off scores of 157, 85, 134, 117, 164 and 136… how can Roberts not be No.1 this week? In the last two weeks against Walyalup, Karl Amon (114), Josh Battle (106) and Bailey Dale (129) have all scored with ease and Roberts should do the same, in the only way he knows how!
No.2 – Luke Jackson v Essendon @ the MCG, SUN 1.10pm AEST
Not only has Jackson been in red-hot form averaging 125 in his last five games, he now has the easiest match-up right in front of him. He scored 144 against the Bombers last year in the exact ruck/midfielder role he has been playing.
No.3 – Tristan Xerri v Kuwarna @ Adelaide Oval, SAT 12.45pm ACST
Before scoring 84 last week against Brodie Grundy, Xerri was flying with previous scores of 131, 145, 55 and 154. He scored 122 at Adelaide Oval last year and even though Lachlan McAndrew isn’t easy to score against – Jordon Sweet (100), Rowan Marshall (104) and Marc Pittonet (104) have all hit triple figures against him this year.
No.4 – Brodie Grundy v Collingwood @ the SCG, FRI 7.30pm AEST
Hold your hats – there is no Darcy Cameron! Coming off a mediocre 54, Grundy will be looking to turn that around against Steene this week. Leading into last week’s match-up, Grundy was coming off 128, 116, 130, 130 and 137… all scores he might beat this Friday night.
No.5 – Lachie Whitfield v Waalitj Marawar @ Optus Stadium, SUN 4.15pm AWST
Whitfield has been great with a six-game average of 114 and during that time he hasn’t dropped under 100. Defenders usually score with ease against the Eagles and Whitfield proved that to be the case with 139 last year. A good ‘fall back’ captain option in the final game of the round.
It’s MAY MADNESS on our patreon – so check out what the pirate has for you!
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Piss funny lads and nothing but laughable – not sure how this has offended so many simple minded people.
You have a choice… take the effort to click the link (takes you 3 seconds) and read what I normal do in patreon… or not.
Why would you click? I don’t know – maybe you want to see what happens in there – maybe you don’t? If not… don’t click.
But don’t get offended and angry about a Fantasy article – bloody laughable!!
FYI – The AFL article is very different as I have a ‘word count’ to follow. This means… Its shorter with less detail and doesn’t cover all the angles. It also only covers 5 players whereas the proper article covers 17 this week.
Great chat
cheers calvin
angry little clavin, muppet advice as usual..flog
Legends! No red dot. C on Grundy or Roberts? Or bring in red dot in case Grundy VC dominates
VC is handy. doubtful Roberts will pig it up as Freo forwards will bring pressure.
Stright out on Roberts Id’ say – he’s No.1. Go Grundy VC incase he pops a big one and go from there
Aye Aye Captain
No red dots or the other 4, traded in Roberts this week, so go Robbo.
My ravel of a season chose VC Bont over Grundy and went into Roberts bearly a pass mark.
Mistake number 2 rookies, played Blamires over Carroll.
Mistake 3 played Retschko over Robey.
Need to improve decision-making for next week.
