Wednesday – Early news
Round 10 is here, and it marks the first of two weeks celebrating Sir Doug Nicholls Round, recognising and celebrating the contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players, cultures, and communities to the game. Early News: The news is already big, with popular DEF premium Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, who was a late out last week, now confirmed with a calf injury and listed for around three weeks. Toby Nankervis has been upgraded to 4-5 weeks, which could give Noah Balta a sneaky look as a cheap FWD/DEF option. Darcy Cameron will miss this week, which is good news if you still have Steene on your bench, and it may also help Brodie Grundy. Unfortunately for those who grabbed rookie Dyson Sharp, he is now sidelined 5-6 weeks with a shoulder injury. Mitch Georgiades is out after injuring his toe during the game, while rookie Josh Lai has entered HIA protocols. Grlj should return after being rested. Tim English will also miss this week due to HIA protocols. Test players this week: Jye Caldwell, Matt Rowell, Caleb Windsor, Callum Wilkie, Jai Serong. Lastly, Michael Voss has resigned as coach, so it痴 important to keep an eye on roles for any Blues players you may own under the new interim coach. No surprises given he was one of the faces of Sir Doug Nicholls Round in the Blues’ Indigenous guernsey launch, Jack Ison (MID $230k) will debut, giving us another basement rookie option if you need one.
Weather notes updated at Wed 13 Apr, 5:00pm AEST. Please check weather closer to game day.
