Now… Let’s find a captain!
#1 – Clayton Oliver v Sydney, SUN 3:20pm
He is the best player in the game at the moment and a clear #1 option in my top-10. Averaging 137 this year, he meets a team he scored 126 and 102 on last year. The biggest tick is his form and the fact he returns to the MCG where he goes for his 18th straight 100+ score. Ridiculous.
#2 – Rory Laird v Port Adelaide, SAT 7:30pm
His numbers on Port suck, but we can’t turn out back on a guy like Laird who is coming off 142. He has averaged 130 at home over his last six games. Port are tough though, but surely he can whip up an easy 120 for us.
#3 – Touk Miller v Geelong, SUN 2:10pm
Last week, Collingwood managed 4×100+ against the Cats who are struggling. Touk scored 133 on them last year and returns home where his record is elite.
#4 – Nick Daicos v Richmond, FRI 7:50pm
Why not? Here is a Friday night VC for you. Richmond don’t tag (Laird saw nothing last week). Daicos is averaging 116 this year and if Laird 142, Sholl 110 and Dawson 101 can all hit 100 on the Tigers, Daicos can as well at the MCG.
#5 – Brodie Grundy v Sydney, SUN 3:20pm
Little smokey for you here but I’m very confident. Gawn is out and Grundy is in and his CBAs will be at an all-time high. He scored 95 last week and will find this match-up super easy against Ladhams, a guy Witts (137) and Meek (83) both score well against recently.
