Calvin's Captains

Calvin’s Captains – Rd. 23

The time is right now – Get yourself sorted with CC’s for the last time this year.

It’s time! The time is right now! Never in your Fantasy life has picking a captain been more important and I can tell you what…. I’m feeling the pressure. There are lots of little flags out there this week and in some games we see taggers and in others we could see bruise-free football.

The thing is… I have changed my top-10 ordering heaps over the last few days. At the end of the day, I’m am here to guide you and support you through the final week of AFL Fantasy. Whether you are hunting a hat, a Toyota HiLux or even a win against your mate… it’s time to get things sorted and you set-up for the ultimate success. Good luck legends.

1. Touk Miller

133, 88, 122 and 120 in his last fourTouk's form has been elite and this week he heads to Marvel, a ground he averaged 130 on from five games last year. 112 and 130 are his last scores on the Roos. To be honest, he is the only one that hasn't changed his position in my top-10 this week. Small flag in the video.

123 last week as a midfielder... doesn't matter where he playsScored 114 when he played this team earlier this year and surprisingly that's his best score against them. His 123 last week was Doch's first score over 120 in his last 7, but this match-up is amazing and try stopping this man on this big occasion. Mid or Def... this could change him to #3... let me think.
3. Rowan Marshall

#1 on form averaging 133 in his last three.Last Rucks v SYD - Cameron 96, Goldy 92, Preuss 85 and ROB 104 - all exceeding overs. This year SYD rank #1 easy for RUCs and lately Rowan has been ripping it against harder teams. Huge smokie! Averaging 127 as solo ruck. FYI - Still a chance to move into spot #2
4. Patrick Cripps

Averaging 118 in his last four gamesMatch-up suits Cripps here even though he only had 89 earlier this year. Pies have given up 7x110+ scores to MIDs in last four weeks with five going 120+. Collingwood are just too easy!

109 and 139 in his last two games.Last week against the Lions, Crouch (108) and Ross (109) were ok but Brisbane can give up plenty on their day. He scored 102 and 86 against them last year and the Lions have only given up 1x120+ score to MIDs in the last four weeks. It's still going to be fine.
6. Rory Laird

@ Adelaide
SAT 7:30pm
90 on the Power earlier this year - season lowThere are some alarm bells in this game. Coming off 92, Laird meets the second hardest team to score against and could even cop a Drew tag. Over the last four weeks, Port have given up just 1x110+ score to MIDs. But hang on... it's Laird.
7. Zach Merrett

@ MCG

No tag here! Recent scores of 105 and 112 against the TigersWhen he's not tagged... Zach's numbers are elite with recent scores of 86, 55 (both tagged) and before that he went 172, 121, 131, 127 and 128. However, no MID has scored over 120+ v RICH in the last four games, but he will run free.
8. Max Gawn

Had 135 and 108 on the Lions last year.Against Oscar... Marshall (118), Nank (86) and Witts (121) all scored well recently. Max is coming off 115 and 152... and although he does come with a risk... a VC could be a play here.
9. Sam Walsh

@ MCG
SUN 3:20pm
155 and 87 against the Pies last yearForm of 79 and 88 is down but it's all about the match-up. Last week Mills 129 and Parker 120 dominated the Magpies and Walsh is another who will as well.
10. Callum Mills

@ Marvel
SUN 4:40pm
5X115+ in his last six - elite!NEVER... never ever has Mills ever scored 100 against the Saints in six attempts. It's the only team he hasn't done it too. His role is also very hit and miss at the moment and he can't be a VC this week. Huge risk... huge reward.
