With two weeks to go things are really heating up and this week I have gone on a game by game break-down of all the players you could be considering. Make sure you check out all the content and hit me up @CalvinDT if you have any questions or suggestions/feedback (that I will ignore) – GOOD LUCK LEGENDS… especially those still alive in finals
Player | Opponent Venue Time | Key Stats | Cal’s Comments |
---|---|---|---|
1. Rory Laird![]() | ![]() @ Adelaide SAT 2:10pm | Has hit 120+ in hiis last nine games | North are the 4th easiest team for MIDs this year and against them in the past Laird hasn't struggled with 140, 90, 101, 115 and 138. There is no reason why his run won't continue this week. |
2. Callum Mills![]() | ![]() @ SCG SUN 3:20pm | Collingwood #1 easy for MIDs this year | Oliver (139) and Petracca (120) did as we expected last week against the Pies and Mills should be fine as well. His form isn't horrible either with 89, 116, 118, 132 and 148 coming in his last five. He had 111 against these guys last year. |
3. Jack Steele![]() | ![]() @ Marvel FRI 7:50pm | 138 against the Lions last year. | Last week I said... "Geelong in Geelong is tough" so we can forgive him for his 92, the first time under 100 in his last seven. Back the man back in and he could be a great VC option on Friday night. |
4. Andrew Brayshaw![]() | ![]() @ Optus SAT 7:45pm | 109 and 137 in his last two games. | Could cop attention from O'Neil but should be fine. He scored 95 against the Eagles in round three and in recent weeks, Laird (127), Touk (122), Steele (154) and Crouch (147) all scored with ease. |
5. Sam Docherty ![]() | ![]() @ MCG SAT 7:25pm | Melbourne #1 easiest for DEFs. | Doch loves playing the Demons with previous scores of 106, 110, 152, 101, 108 and 106. He rips these guys and has form on his side with 101, 119 and 109. Double figure marks coming. |
6. Clayton Oliver![]() | ![]() @ MCG SAT 7:25pm | 139 last week... he's back alright. | 110, 125 and 116 are Oliver's last scores against the Blues who have been tricky to score against this year but they are depleted. Neale (117), Bailey (108) and McCluggage (105) score well last week though. |
7. Zach Merrett![]() | ![]() @ Marvel SUN 4:40pm | Before his 55 last week, he was averaging 136 in last 5 | No tag here... unless Drew pops his head up. Port are the #2 hardest for MIDs this year, but last week Richmond had four tons. Zach loves playing the Power and has averaged 115 against them over his 10 games. |
8. Luke Parker![]() | ![]() @ SCG SUN 3:20pm | 115, 118 and 114 in his last three | Match-up is everything here and Parker should be busy again. He gets bulk CBAs and even though he only had 84 on them last year, he is smoking at the moment and this match-up is super-juicy. |
9. Max Gawn![]() | ![]() @ MCG SAT 7:25pm | 152... 87 and 133 in his last three | Oscar Mc scored 105 against the Blues last week and Max even scored 105 against them in 2021. VC option only if you can hold out that long. |
10. Rowan Marshall![]() | ![]() @ Marvel FRI 7:50pm | Since rucking solo... he has a 130 average | Witts scored 121 against the Lions in round 19, but with that said, they are tough to score against ranking #5 hardest for the year. 130 average as the solo guys is impressive. |

As the the fantasy season draws to a close… not many are left who are interested.
I was already taking Steele vc, and pig Laird c.

Yes, but judging by the lack of comments on this site in the last few weeks, not many people are still engaged.

EPL started last week. I’m in Fantasy and Dream Team. A League is easy, doesn’t take much time. Give NFL a go. I was in NFL Dream Team last year, don’t really follow the game but enjoyed the challenge of so many players. NBL RDT is good as well. Good to get leagues together with ppl on here

I fill the void by playing EPL Fantasy and Sportsdeck EPL. Keeps me sane during the months of no AFL.

When does the A League fantasy start?
It’s a slight distraction.
EPL is too late at night for me, and impossible to pick.
