Ok, Sunday Funday, let’s do this.
Ben McEvoy (MID, $8,000) The Tigers were the 6th easiest team to for rucks to score against last year and last week Sam Jacobs had 120 which included 40 hit outs. Big Boy is also in great form, coming off 116 with 43 hit outs against the Cats and he should be in for another big day.
Joe Daniher (FWD, $7,700) has had a slow start to the season and will have low ownership as a result. Given the fact the Dogs have been giving up a heap of points and the fact he kicked 6.4 for 127 on them last year, I like the gamble. Given players like Ryan, Venables and Darling are kicking multiple goals on them, he surely has a day out.
Gary Ablett (MID, $10,000) is almost a must have, even at that price. Not only is he in sensational form with 117 and 138 this year, the Little Master loves playing… or should I say dominating the Eagles. In his last 11 games against them, he only has one score under 109 and he is averaging 121 in that stretch.
Tim Kelly (MID, $3,500) is an obvious choice, but I am here to make sure you don’t miss him in a rush. He is averaging 98 on the back of his massive 115 last week. He is averaging the third most contested possessions per game for the Cats at 13.
Tom Bellchambers (RUC, $6,600) similar to yesterday, it might be worth flexing a big man due to some favourable match ups. The Dogs are very weak in the ruck department headed by English and gave up 112 to Lycett and 70 to Nic Nat in 55% game time last week. With a projected 40+ hit outs, he could push a score of 90 which would be a good return for price.
Joel Selwood (MID, $7,600) the Eagles have been giving up some huge numbers and Selwood is set to get amongst that… at a bargain price. He is in red hot form with scores of 110, 122, 117 and 137 in his last four games and he is an easy pick.
Good luck! Cha Ching,
Roy
