Sandilands you weak-arse-sh*t… oh and Pav too!

It looks like Aaron Sandilands will most likely miss the trip to Tassie this weekend being all but ruled out by coach Mark Harvey. Matthew Pavlich is also a chance to be rested for the longest trip in AFL. See article.

Sandilands

Sandilands has been the best ruck in DT for the year, but hasn’t played a finals game after being out of the side in Round 19 and 20… and then likely to be out. If you have no other issues, then you need to trade him! But who to?

If you have Robbie Warnock as cover, he probably won’t have a smashing game against the Cats, so a trade to Darren Jolly (vs Crows), Hamish McIntosh (vs Eagles ) or even Mitch Clark (vs Bombers) who is in some form are decent options. Clark would be my pick – bit of X-Factor there.

Pavlich

Pav may still be named, but if not… trade, trade, trade! If you have DPP link – if you can get away with it, stick with it. But this is what we save trades for. For $339K, there are plenty of options, but with extra cash, get that premium player that you don’t have! Is it time to get Paul Chapman if you haven’t had him all year?

I feel these preliminary finals are going to be about the teams with the most depth (or trades/cash) going through to the big one. Thank god I am in pre-season training for 2011. Sandi, you can become Mark Blake and Pav… welcome back into the Warne Dawgs Jared Brennan!

Ahhh crap, that leaves me in a shitty position. With 2 trades left and Higgins and Sandi in my team I don’t know whether to risk not having a trade for the GF if I make it or trade both this week to get through.

Well I dont know about everyone else but I dont see Sandilands being out as being a big problem. Specially as everyone in my league has Sandilands, and warnock as cover. Suppose the only good thing for me is I also have Trengove (who has been scoring better than warnock lately) but do you really want to put him on the field or play it safe and take the same score as your opponent?

freo must be kidding, they need to win at least one of the next two games to get a home final (which for freo would be a huge deal) surely they will take their best side into the game rather than risk losing a home final. Carlton have beaten a stronger Freo then what they are fielding now so i wouldn’t risk losing

hmmmmmm. i have 2 trades 220k in the bank.

i was going to go Brown to Chappy, and ROK (mid) to Bartel.

but now i am wondering if i should swap ROK with Pav and trade pav out? what do people think?

and who do people think is better for next 2 week? chappy, didak or sylvia?

Out of trades & yes, I have all 3, Sandi,Pav & Higgins.
Bad mistake, (besides using all my trades,) was to have originally selected Warnock & McEvoy as ruck res.
Gonna go with McEvoy, (vs Rich) & hope he outscores Warnock. (like his 86 & 83 vs Port & Haw respectively.)
Can use dpp for Higgins & have Pods to cover for Pav.
And Kennelly to sub for Maguire.
Leaves me with Hunt,Warnock & P.Davis, (if Pav out tonight,) as emergencies.
Could be close, or I could lose by 300! 

  probably the most frustrating DT player to watch in the league. got me 124 on debut when i traded in for brennan. whenever they try to kick to him, they always shank it or it gets cut off or gets to him on the bounce etc. But he’s cheap and can crack out a massive one every now and then.

I just heard on the radio over here that the Dockers are at the airport now and there is no sign of Pav. Harvey was interviewed and was very cagey but unless Pav is getting another flight he is resting for the game against Carlton next week.

Sandi is definitely not playing either

FMDT….just when I finally got myself in a position to get Goddard or Ablett and stop losing points to every other DT in the comp.

So now i am stuck with pav,brown, and 1 remaning trade with 160k. going to cover pav, take the sandi donut, trade brown to chappy/voldt/didak and hope i win. IF i do win hopefully pav and sandi come back for round 22. I already know that my opp is out of trades so he cops the pav donut!

My mad decision to leave sandi out is paying off, especially with M Clark hitting form. But my decision to trade in Pav instead of Goodes really starting to hurt. FU Pavbitch. 2386 last week without Brown dog (rocky covering), so hoping he gets up to cover Pavbitch

I have Pav and Brown in the forward line, with L Davis on the bench, hopefully he comes back and can cover for Pav while I can upgrade Brown.
