I’ve got Ballantyne/Mayne/Danger in the forwards, not that impressed with any of them, thinking I should sack one and bring in Pods or Rockliff. But who to sack and who to bring in? I’m thinking of sacking Danger (injury worry, may have little upside in value) and maybe going for Rockliff over Pods (better job security). What do you guys think? Is that the right call?

maguire to hams or other rook and then warren to didak this week.

next week silvagni to rook then armitage to swan!!

still got 20 trades so not an issue

  Both Maguire and Silvagni are still carving and can rise a lot in price, you’d be silly to trade either yet.

  Rockliff and Pods are viable downgrades who will end up scoring more than Tippett. However, a couple of bad games and they might find themselves out of the side. Depends if you have cover on the bench.
  
  Your options would be the two rookies mentioned, otherwise the following are good for their price
  
  Patrick Dangerfield
  Ballantyne (if you dont already have him) – Last game bad, but that was against St Kilda
  Brett Burton (If he can stay injury free)
  
  The thing to remember, is at that price, you don’t have any superstar options. My advice would be to get Pods, if you have him Rockliff (who’s spot in the side isnt guaranteed either). Or the three I suggested

Great show boys!! One of the funniest yet. keep up the good work, and although it is obvious to most experienced DT’ers… For those inexperienced ones or trade happy DT’ers keep those trades as you are going to need them

def selling ball this week and either mitchell or martin
sell ball/mitch – get goddard and brennan with martin on field or sell ball/martin get brennan and rischitelli and mitch on the field. im leaning towards the 2nd option – thoughts? mitchell has to play better than he has

  Getting rid of Mitchell???? WTF, He spent half the game off with hamstring tightness. He will average 100 by seasons end and he almost averages 100 now. He was rested cos the Hawks were getting smashed. That would be the biggest waste of a trade I have ever heard!!

  Couldn’t agree with you more Dallas!! People who look at 1 score clearly aren’t taking DT seriously. Listen to the DT boys, no sideways trades. Another example would be people getting rid of Ballantyne? Why the hell would you get rid of Ballantyne when in 6-7 weeks he could score 500-600 points and soar in price.

How disappointing have Dustin Martins’ scores been? A lot of owners would have expected him to be 40k+ on his current price with greater scope for increase. With the amount of people freeing up cash this week, next week may be the upgrade week. Probably 2-3 weeks too early in my opinion, but with the number of Premiums set to bottom out you might have to pull the trigger.

  Dustin Martin, doesn’t mark it or kick it enough. His tackle count should be A LOT higher, the guy will be a star, but not really sure that he will be a DT star just yet. You have to keep him, as he is guaranteed games, if he has three blinders in a row that’s when he is ready to sell. You should have other cash cows in your side to sell first before Martin anyway

guys what are your thoughts on hitchcock to pods? it will leave me about 150k in the bank but by doing this i will have used 4 trades already, is that too many?

Hitchcock to pods I dunno, not enough profit for me just yet, If go to Pods this week it will have to be for an underperforming forward i.e. Danger or Tippett so I can free more cash for later down the track for my mid upgrade.

4 trades, who knows all depends on the second half injuries and the coaches ‘resting players’ etc…. you should look towards having at least one trade avalible for each week of the finals. I would say go into the second half with around 12-14 left.

Didn’t agree with you last week boys on Chop Chop but was thinking as he ranted in Ep 4 that he was absolutely on fire! So you’re spot on! Best Chop ever.:)
Keep up the good work Chop, and while you’re at it, can you scare that big girl Trav Cloke into getting some frickn points!! Can’t believe that out of the 2 guys that have broken my heart over the last 2 years, Cloke and Malceski, that I got scared off the Eski due to his hammy and I got the big dud Pie in there to screw me again. lol Gots to love DT
