Mitch Duncan (MID, $12,950)
Saturday v West Coast
Great match up and great numbers on a team that he has smashed in the past. Get this, in his last three games against the Eagles, Duncan has found space and scored 146, 134 and 130. This has the makings of another nasty score from a guy who is coming off 115.
Lachie Whitfield (D/M, $13,570)
Saturday v Bulldogs
Fancy playing Whitfield in his best position? That’s what his new coach did last week as Whitfield went nuts with 130. Although he isn’t playing the Roos this week, and the Dogs will be tougher, a triple figure score is certainly within reach. In fact, it’s expected.
Brynn Teakle (RUC, $6,000)
Saturday v Sydney
Port’s new No. 1 ruck scored 77 in the VFL last week with 7 marks. He knocked out Sam Hayes from the No. 1 job and this week he is only up against Peter Ladhams. A score of 70+ would be a blessing from a guy who is bargain basement in price.
Jake Soligo (MID, $6,900)
Sunday v Gold Coast
This guy has only gone up $900 from his starting price off the back of 61, 61 and 77. Soligo is high-rated at the Crows and has been hitting the scoreboard. We not expecting much, but the match-up is more than favourable and another 70+ scores is on the cards.
Touk Miller (MID, $15,790)
Sunday v Adelaide
Nearly $1000 less than Rory Laird, Touk gets the tick. But price wasn’t the main factor here, it was the fact that the great man is back home where he has had some big scores this year. Coming off 135, Touk should unleash on the Crows who have been giving up plenty of points in recent weeks.
Cameron Guthrie (MID, $13,390)
Saturday v West Coast
I’ve been hot on Guthrie this week and here are my reasons why…
Guthrie is heating up, averaging 113 in his last three games.
Give him a bad team to play and he’ll give you big numbers in return
Eagles are giving up plenty. Roughly 300pts a game more than the hardest team in Port Adelaide. That spread out over 22 players is a huge boost to their scores.
Come on? Surely I have others on board who can see this happening too?
