Wednesday – Early news

Welcome to Gather Round. All nine games this week are being played in South Australia, with Adelaide Oval, Norwood Oval, and Barossa Park all hosting matches across the round. No more early byes, no more top 18 scores, your full squads now count. Early News: It has been confirmed Rory Laird will play on Thursday, and it looks likely both Scott Pendlebury and Nick Daicos return for Collingwood this week. Angus Anderson (MID $230k) will debut for the Pies. There is a small chance Christian Petracca returns this week, but the coach has indicated he is more likely for Round 7. Todd Marshall has been cleared to play for Port Adelaide, while Deven Robertson should return from suspension. There are injury concerns at the Bulldogs, with Tim English and Ed Richards hurt last week with no clear timelines yet, and Tom Liberatore experiencing a delay in his recovery.
