2357. Not a bad score. Planning ahead to improve my team more.

Shows how bad my season has been when I’m happy with anything over 2300…

        I dream of scoring 2300

I can get anyone under 914k, who should i get? Sinclair, Mills, Whitfield, Miller, Crisp, Libba, Gawn???

Miller is in form at the moment grab him

    What is a better combo:

    1. ROB and Soligo (on bench)
    2. English and Jeffrey (on bench)

ROB has a good run coming up, and will give me the space to keep Soligo while he is still generating cash. When I downgrade him it will give me cash for a couple of weeks to upgrade. Thoughts?

    • John1

      July 3, 2022 at 10:46 pm

I feel like if you go ROB now you will still have to bring in english later on, not a bad problem however because as you say, ROB has a real nice run coming
Id go ROB, and save soligo to downgrade next week potentially

  7. Jamison Cameron

    July 3, 2022 at 10:01 pm

Who do i bring in out of these???

    Mills, Steele, Keays, Cluggage,

    • Ollie

      July 3, 2022 at 10:24 pm

I’d take Steele he is the most reliable. I have Mills in front of Steele if he plays mid, but has a breakeven of 162 or around about. Could roll the dice with Keays if you want to, has a good last couple of weeks and good price, Cluggage really good on form but higher in price and haven’t seen as much from him in the past

  8. Stimpy

    July 3, 2022 at 10:04 pm

Choose one that i dont have to trade out in a week or two ,because of bad scores or stuck in the fwd line
    1) Bont
    2)Tarranto
    3) Duncan
    I need to pick a keeper 😁

    • John1

      July 3, 2022 at 10:49 pm

well bont is the safer pick there, id go him

      • Stimpy

    July 3, 2022 at 10:08 pm

Heeney to Bont vs Libba vs Parker vs Taranto ??

Can afford Bailey Smith and English too but not sure on either

    • brian Smith

      July 3, 2022 at 11:02 pm

How much cash do you need to keep for next week’s trade? Bont possibly best, but Parker / Taranto not far behind and could save you 60.

  10. JungleMuffin

    July 3, 2022 at 10:13 pm

How’s poor Roy. Smashes 2400 and gets the vest 😂

    Treloar, Taranto, Liba, or Bont

    • brian Smith

      July 3, 2022 at 10:58 pm

Didn’t Treloar come off injured? Depends where you’re at – do you need to gamble or can you play it safe? For a gamble: Taranto > Liba > Bont > Treloar. To play it safe: Bont > Liba > Taranto > Treloar

      • Plus6

        July 4, 2022 at 12:14 am

How can Treloar be last on both lists.. that defies logic

  12. brian Smith

    July 3, 2022 at 10:51 pm

Who goes first – Jed Anderson, Hately or Lipinski? All have ‘easy’ matchups this round, all scoring mid 70s all lost cash this round.
Who do I trade in – McLuggage (1% ownership) or Zerrett + 80 for next round

    • BestowedMisery

      July 4, 2022 at 2:34 am

Might be handy if you check Cal’s latest scale of hardness.
Plan for the remainder of the season instead of one ‘easy’ round..

      • brian Smith

        July 4, 2022 at 5:32 pm

The plan is to get rid of all of them asap, so I’m only looking one or two rounds ahead, not the rest of the season. Thinking Hately > Merrett, then Lipinski to Taranto next week . . . .

  13. Jacob

    July 3, 2022 at 11:57 pm

I’m really struggling this season and need tips for what to do. Still only scoring 2100 a week. Got $172k left. Gotta get as many great tips as possible to improve.

Def: Docherty, Short, Hewett, Sicily, Whitfield, Wehr (DeKoning, Archer)
Mid: Oliver, Mills, Miller, Macrae, Steele, Petracca, Mitchell, Rozee (Owens, Angwin)
    Ruck: English, Witts (Begg)
Fwd: Dunkley, Coniglio, Brodie, Heeney, Anderson, Xerri (Butler, Baldwin)
    Utl: Bazzo

    • pendles4brownlow

      July 4, 2022 at 12:21 am

You should have offloaded Baldwin and Xerri long ago. Baldwin has hardly played and could have been a rook who would have been going up in value. Xerri peaked long ago. SDK may give you enough value to down-trade to a basement rook so you can upgrade Xerri to Dawson or Brayshaw via DPP. You need to work to get all rooks off the field, then try to improve the players on field to premiums. Once you can get Wehr and Xerri off your field, look to upgrade Rozee, Heeney and Anderson.

    • Straight Shooter

      July 4, 2022 at 11:01 pm

Dekoning down to Burgoyne Anderson up to Parker or Taranto then next week hope for a rookie mid for owes an Xerri up good luck

I was at Carrara in 1991 to watch Peter Daicos kick 13 goals against Brisbane in an absolute masterclass. I think I saw a future legend of the game on Saturday night in Peter’s son, Nick, as he showed a glimpse of what he will be.

    • Phteven

      July 4, 2022 at 12:29 pm

I thiink that young Burgoyne who debuted on the weekend is also bound to be a star like his father was.

      • Straight Shooter

        July 4, 2022 at 11:04 pm

Not sure Peter was a star good player for sure but not star

I’d be getting rid of those 2 Kangaroo’s on your field asap.

  16. BestowedMisery

    July 4, 2022 at 2:44 am

Wow, Brodie is only $1,000 cheaper than Cripps.
No one would have predicted that 9 weeks ago.
My biggest regret bringing that spud in when I knew
    better..
    fmdt x 4..

        • Straight Shooter

Taranto. Duncan has a great roll for 3 weeks though

  17. Doug

    July 4, 2022 at 8:55 am

2412 with playing Mead, so could be worse..
Jackson out meant my strategy of downgrade/upgrade went out the window, so out went Jackson for ROB (big W), but meant that I could only get to Lloyd from Stewart (big L, shoulda banked cash & played Massimo)
BUT – Sinclair, Daicos, Neale, Clarry, Guthrie, Touk (C), Zerret, Trac, ROB, Cogs, Dunks, Bont & Brodie went alright..
In fact my mids averaged 118.25 which includes Hately’s 62…

  18. NP

    July 4, 2022 at 9:09 am

2317 copping a donut in the Ruck – and still went up about 1000 ranks from 9k-8k… Would’ve been nice to be aggressive and crack 2400 in hindsight. But I was sick of being still weeks away from completing my team. Just the Jackson (RUC/FWD) and Hately (MID) upgrades to go now.

Thinking either Hately to Steele/Brayshaw (10k short of Clarry), or
    Jackson to Taranto/Gawn

Jackson has a lower BE so might be worth waiting another week as long as he plays

    • Doug

      July 4, 2022 at 12:20 pm

Ditto with Hately, but also need to throw in Heeney, pending Dan Houston being OK..
Thinking Heeney back to Jackson (traded him out to ROB last week to avoid a 0) if Gawn misses another week, then upgrading Hately to Telly/Shiel (best upgrade I can get in Mid) or a wildcard in Salem down back switching a DPP into M8..

  19. Dulcify

    July 4, 2022 at 9:41 am

So disappointed to have picked Witts over ROB. It was purely to save $30 odd grand. Cost me 64 points. Along with Heeney and N Martin these 3 players stopped me getting to the magical 2500. Finished on 2490, I am happy with that. 2499 in RDT.

    • BrodieA

      July 8, 2022 at 1:58 pm

Same here mate, although I chose Witts over ROB when he pumped out his 150. Been stuck with him since

  20. Jake

    July 4, 2022 at 10:17 am

2441 for me this week! Including a donut from Jackson, contemplating what might have been but stoked none the less. Rozee to English and Short to Sinclair this week holding Daicos with a good match up again.

  21. Pill

    July 4, 2022 at 10:54 am

Best week I’ve had all year, scored 2509

+3’s – Sinclair, Dawson, Laird, Neale, Miller, Cogs, Duncan, Oliver (c)

-3’s – Cripps, Sicily, Short & Crisp – All close to premiums but just can’t do it at the moment.

Ideally looking to bring in either Docherty, Mills, Steele or Brayshaw this week.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

How safe is it to field Callum M. Brown for one week against Port Adelaide.

    • brian Smith

      July 5, 2022 at 2:45 pm

Who’s going to get injured or give you a forced trade this week, means that CMB has to be on field next week as well? Be very careful!!

  23. Domè

    July 4, 2022 at 12:10 pm

Who do I field this week, Hately or L.Jackson?

Looks like gawn is back, and Hately was pushed to wing but has Hawks this week

    • Stimpy

      July 4, 2022 at 2:16 pm

Can someone tell me did Treloar get injured,in the game on the weekend?

  24. Noble's Last Days

    July 4, 2022 at 5:09 pm

Strained a hamstring late in the game, didn’t look bad. He’s still a good chance to play this week.

  25. Mark

    July 4, 2022 at 5:59 pm

    Keays or Merrett?
Both have a good run home.

    • pendles4brownlow

      July 4, 2022 at 8:30 pm

Keays has a good run. but he has had a good run for a while also and has been going downhill – v WCE 84, v Suns 75, v Northern witches hats 110 (sounds good but not when playing witches hats). Is his 123 against Melbourne a false dawn? Risky as.

Out of these two, Zerrett wins hands down, but I would not take either. Are either of them going to be top 8 mids for the last part of the season. Highly doubtful.

      • Mark

        July 5, 2022 at 2:04 pm

        TY you pendles

      • Norman

        July 5, 2022 at 8:56 pm

Out of those 2 I’d go Merrett for the following reasons…

I’ve owned Keays all season. At the start he was a BEAST and was constantly hunting the ball and working overtime to get the uncontested marks and win it out of the pack.

Since Laird came in his role has changed. He still gets the same mid time but he only really operates from Arc to Arc (doesn’t leave the centre square apart from the occasional push forward) and doesn’t go out to the wings when the ball is there.
He also sits outside of the stoppages waiting for the release handball and is a lot more of a link up/outlet player now rather than the “see ball get ball” which Laird (and Berry) are doing very well.
It’s been quite frustrating to own him tbh and for that reason I choose Zerrett

  26. Jay

    July 4, 2022 at 8:56 pm

    Early trade thoughts

Option 1 – wehr (onfield) and SDK (bench) out for Dawson and Burgoyne and 28k in bank for next week playing degoey

Option 2 – SDK (bench) and degoey (onfield) out for Salem and berry (crows) and 11k in bank for next week

    • Straight Shooter

      July 4, 2022 at 11:15 pm

Option 1. cash gen option an with Dawson being a keeper 2. To risky pics with upside

  27. Andy

    July 4, 2022 at 9:18 pm

Wehr or Soligo (both on bench) to trade out first for an upgrade? Both have similar BE’s. Team structure prob works better if it’s Wehr

  28. Gus

    July 5, 2022 at 4:54 am

Are we Trading Out Luke Jackson with Gawn returning?
(providing Max gets through final fitness test 2moz)

    • NP

      July 5, 2022 at 5:33 pm

I’ll hold and sort out other issues elsewhere.

Logic being Gawn likely to go down in price and Jackson likely to go up

  29. Euman

    July 5, 2022 at 7:55 am

    Brayshaw freo or Neale

  30. Boy George

    July 5, 2022 at 9:06 am

    Steele or Tracca?

  31. Angus

    July 5, 2022 at 7:57 pm

    Downgrading Soligo for cash, got Owens and Stevens in M10 and Utility, so need the new rookie to be playing for any injuries and late-outs, can’t decide wether to go;
    A) Tunstill for JS and scoring, which I might need, or,
    B) Trew for the extra 20k that might b useful for next week upgrading Hately, though might have less JS and scoring.

    Any thoughts appreciated :)

  32. Shaz

    July 5, 2022 at 8:02 pm

I have O’Brian, English, Cameron and Jackson Thinking for trades, Cameron to Taranto through DPP and Hately to Laird.
Any thoughts or better options appreciated

Could go anyone under 914k this week, was planning on english but taranto looks juicy too. Going taranto leaves me with some cash to help finally get rid of my last rookie next week
    Options im looking at are:
    English
    steele
    sinclair
    walsh
    bont
    Taranto
    Any thoughts?

    July 6, 2022 at 5:31 am

Which combo do you think is best after trading in Dawson

    1) N Martin/ Degoey
    2) Wehr/ Coleman

  36. I am McGovern

    July 6, 2022 at 10:38 am

Houston & Mccomb to Whitfield & Rookie or Houston & Hately to Naicos & Timmy T.
Naicos feels like a backward step but scoring better than Houston and could last the season at D6

  37. MooshGuy

    July 6, 2022 at 10:45 am

Have lots of cash this round, can bring in 2 of these 3 players: Dawson, Sinclair, Taranto – which 2 should I pick?
