Cripps, there’s plenty of mids that give your team an extra 40-50 plus points, can’t say the same for the forwards and backs this season.

Assuming an Oliver injury, will trade him down and trade cripps up. Hopefully could get a Mills, Steele, Guthrie and Cripps up to Big Z.

Cripps to Steele for sure, has been in unreal form since returning from shoulder surgery.
Cripps Ceiling is 100 and he seems to be good for a 90 and not much more.
Houston still under that injury cloud with his calf & hand but has the ceiling still I think.

Finally, we have lift off.
I think Rioli, JAnderson and Rowell have earned themselves another week in my team. I can afford to bring in anyone to replace Whitfield. Who’s the best option?
Touk, Mills, Zerrett, Sinclair, Bazheadbutt or Steele?
Leaning towards Zerrett, as the Bombers have a very cushy next 3, and he seems to have proven he is back in form, so he is value. His price would also mean I could afford to replace any of Rioli, JAnderson or Rowell (whoever performs worst) to anyone next week.

Brought in Taranto into the MID last week expecting him to take Heeney’s FWD this week, but feel like upgrading Houston in DEF is a higher priority..
IF Clarry is out for surgery, then he goes to Mills/Steele meaning I can get Houston up to the Doc.

My immediate reaction was – both. Having looked deeper, I would say Crippa. He has not been scoring as well as he was earlier in the season, a higher BE and a lower 3-game average. They both have a similar run home. I don’t think Wines will improve in price, but he won’t lose as much value as Crippa. Every year, Crippa seems to be the same – starts off flying while Carlton actually believes they are going OK, then the wheels fall off after he has tired from carrying the team for the first half of the season (and other teams figure out that if they stop Crippa they will still stop Carlton) and they realise that they have not got a chance.

Cripps; Wines could score well against Melbourne, and Cripps just isn’t the Cripps of round 1 to 8. He has to go.

Who to Captain?
I’m looking at VC on Laird – he plays the Pies (Go Pies!) who don’t do much to halt Fantasy scoring.
Who to C – Brayshaw or Zerrett??? Brayshaw in form but Sydney don’t give away much. Zerrett going well in recent games and against Suns.

Finally with the return of Bailey Smith, I can finish my bulldog forward line, will probably trade out Oliver due to injury.
F: English, Smith, Dunkley, Bontempelli, Liberatore, Treloar (McComb, Bedendo).
Come friday night, 1/3 of my team would have already played, lol.

I’m torn between luxury trades or ensuring green dots across all lines.
Scenario 1: Hold Oliver – Trade cashed up Wehr to and upgrade Serong to Bradshaw.
Scenario 2: Trade Oliver – Merret and upgrade Houston. to helmet Brayshaw.
My guy says Scebario 2 as not sure how Oliver’s injury will effect his game and not the time of year to putting up w/ sub par scores…looking to crack top 1000 for first. 🤞

Steele & Keays
Other option may be to bring Carmichael on to bench hoping for a 70 to cover Oliver…then doing a big upgrade on a Cripps or Lipinski.
