Getting rid of Daicos and Whitfield this week. If I can go to Mitchell and Bont with this trade, should I? Or should I do Mitchell/Bont and a cow, and bank the money for mid/post bye?

Im not sold on titch yet, much prefer bont or even guys like parker/treloar which are more or less equal to bont once bont gets his fwd
None of the other midfielders at that 800kish price really scream at me, maybe a serong could be nice with his low BE to trade him up at his bye. Id probably trade in a guy for another line (sinclair/parker/sicily maybe) over titch or just go a rookie

That’s a Tough call.
The Sell High, Buy Low is a tried and true method.
But buying the right Fallen/Low Players to bounce back is the tricky bit.
I ain’t got no crystal ball.
I go on calculated risks.
Titch is a Good Buy if sam Mitchell doesn’t fuck him over.
But Oliver on the other hand is in awesome form.
But you are Buying his Form.
We’re as with Titch your buying his sub par form in hopes of recapturing his best.
If 150k is the difference between you being able to upgrade next week as well. Then go Titch.
Im always looking at next week’s trades when deciding.
But if 150k doesn’t affect next week’s trades targets and You don’t wana risk titch.
Then Oliver is in brilliant form and very consistent.

It depends mate.
If you play like me, I’m all about trying to put 22 Premos on the field as fast as possible. Looking for Value picks along the way to make this happen.
When it’s Done.
You can then fine tune.
While Titch might not outscore Oliver. He’s better than a rookie there and has big plus side
Sounds like you will easily upgrade another rook or Mid pricer next week as well…that’s a plus for me as well.
But as I say.
You can’t go wrong either way.

highly likely, at the rate theyre going theyve got it. Then you consider theyre vsing the eagles means theyre even more likely to spend time there(they wont be needed more in the mdifield)

Depends on Bye structure……
You would be trading in Wines for 1 week then bye. Makes more sense Wines post bye.
I couldn’t own Cam guthrie. But that’s Just me.
Bonts has Eagles straight up and a chance for FWD status. So it could be very fruitful if he can go to your forward line. Then pop Wines into your midfield.
Wines and Bonts have similar BEs.
So you won’t be missing out on much $$$

Is it too late to get in Cameron or still worth it? Haven’t been able to get him past week due to forced trades and have missed out on a lot of cash generation and points. Still get him in or miss?

Im in the Same boat mate. I couldn’t get him due to forced trades.
But On current form and with low BEs,
He has more growth.
Plus he plays blues and hawks Ruck stocks over next 2 weeks. They are depleted. He could go well.
For Me, I’m getting durdin off the ground in the process. So it’s a easy call (durfin liable to throw up a 30,40 at any point lol)…. It will also depend on your Bye structure and the points your replacing

32 BE with a round 14 bye fits perfectly for my bye structure. Straight to F6 which was Rioli last week so if keeps up current form will be a great replacement. Just got that bad feeling I’m gonna trade him in and he’s gonna go back to pure shite

Yer his BE is still low. It’s a risky move at the price. But I figure he should go well and bye is perfect.
He will generate alot more on current form. Hopefully he kills it.

Depends a bit on Cox. Cox was rucking v Freo until the injury – Cameron’s score came from him being sole ruck for the balance of the game (esp with all those tackles). So I would hold off him if Cox named in the ruck, as the scoring comes from when he is sole ruck

I am at the stage of the season where I am only trading in keepers (and bench rookies of course). I doubt Cameron will be a top 6 defender at end of season so you will eventually be trading him out again. If you only have cash for Cameron then I don’t see any issues though. He is still value.

If not, you shouldn’t be worrying about your premos breakevens. Cripps has Pies, Bombers and tigers coming up. He should bounce back.
You need to be getting your rooks off the field and replacing with premos
If you are just sideways trading. You can’t build the team. Build your team first.

I’ve got 1 more rookie spot to fill.
My plan is to Cut 3 rooks next trades and then grab a premium off round 12 bye into round 13.
That will strengthen my rookies and complete my base team.
From thier I can fine tune things like max gawn, mills etc….
But il only fine tune once my team is full. No more rookies on the field.

Not sure I have gone mad but due to limited funds considering Daicos to Swallow just for 2 weeks and then after R12 before he has the bye, trade him to Docherty to complete backline. Dont see any other options besides JHF to Soglio (on bench) but not gonna help during byes unlike above

Yes, Swallow is on the radar for a few weeks of competent scores, plus a reasonable cash grow for the jump to Doch. Just make sure you have enough other trades for the other moves you need to make. If there is an injury, you might be left with a lemon longer than you want!

Kelly will continue to average more than Bont, but he is still not going to be a top 8 Mid, so there are better Mids to target. Bont is likely to get Fwd status next week, and while he is a long way off a top 8 Mid, he will be a top 6 Fwd. Also Kelly has the round 12 bye. I have neither, but I am looking at getting Bont in after round 13 as a Fwd.

If you recruit bont you should be recruiting him with the expectation of moving him into your forward line next week. Bont is easily a top 6 forward right now
Kelly on the other hand is looking like he will cement a spot in the top 10 mids on current form, if you sort all players by last 5 round average hes 3rd comfortably, behind only mills and oliver
Only other thing id consider is bye structure, kelly is awkward with a r12 bye, if you get him now hes out the week after. I will be looking for kelly to come in after his bye

I wouldnt go anywhere near jeffrey, he needed 5 goals to get to the 80s, he wont do that every week. Expect scores closer to his 30 the week before to be more common, I dont expect him to average any more than 50. I dont fully trust titch yet either. 1 good score isnt enough to say that hes back
Can you go bont and cleary? or is that stretching the budget too much? If not then id consider guys like parker/treloar/sinclair, could even go to serong as a bridge to a better player at his bye

whats up lads, currently looking at rowell and martin out to C.stephens and bsmith, likely smith gets fwd next week and I think stephens JS is looking nice with danger out for a bit. Leaves me with STILL holding NOD haha but at least NOD isnt losing cash

I would go with Cameron or Berry if you don’t have them. Only because Lloyd I don’t think we have seen enough of and same with Duncan. They would be risky options which I think you would be better off saving money with a lower, less risky option. I like Newcomb but I think he has made all of his cash and he is not a top 10 midfielder. His inconsistency is also a worry. If you can get a ruck I like Sean Darcy. If you can get more money I like Serong. If you don’t have Coniglio I think he is a good option with a new coach.

he was sick last week, now hes not good enough to get a spot. Hes listed as emergency after training with the team during the week. Small chance he gets a late in but cant rely on that happening. Hes got the bye next week so its likely 3 weeks out for him, pretty expensive player to be carrying for that long

cant play for maybes, hes fit and ready to go, if he was in the giants preferred 22 now youd think hed be playing. Theyve got a new coach too so it could be that hes not preferred as the main ruckman anymore, who knows. Definitely not bad to trade him this week
