Sunday extended bench selections will be made about 5pm on Friday. Worth noting that Sam Hayes is named in the extended squad, but Scott Lycett is named despite a shoulder concern. Lachie Jones is out with covid protocols, and Cripps is missing this one with his Hammie, he is listed as a 1 week injury at this stage so some may consider holding. Ollie Wines is still out after having a health scare last week, and lets hope it isnt too serious and he recovers soon. Corey Durdin is back into the the extended list, and
Sam Skinner is also on the extended list, but Id think Aliir would get in before him.

Interesting with this one, with both rookies O’Driscoll and Erasmas performing well, who actually goes out for Serong and Tucker this week? This is a very important extended bench selection since O’Driscoll will be a big in for many teams after his great game last week, and those with him already will be hoping for a follow up. Kaine Baldwin is back into the extended list for those who may still have him languishing on your bench.

We wont know extended bench selections for this one until the afternoon on Saturday, by that stage most of the games will have been played for the round. This will be a tough one since a few rookies such as Connor MacDonald, Josh Ward, Sam De Koning will be named. They are named on the field, however this isnt a 100% guarantee they will be selected. (Although its usually a good sign). As already reported Will Day is out injured,with Windgard back in, and Tom Stewart will be back in for the cats.

Teamsheets are in for round 5s opener with Lions vs Pies

Check out the current injury list here.. Preuss is missing a week with a report, and Ryder is missing a couple, which means J.Hayes a chance of a call up. Patrick Cripps is being reported as only a 1 week injury, which makes trading him out decision a bit harder than we first thought. Corey Durdin should be back from protocols, as well as Joel Smith for dees. A handy POD at hawks Will Day will unfortunately miss due to concussion protocols. Its all but certain that Serong and Tucker will be back for Freo this week. Tom Stewart has recovered from Gastro and he should be back as well. Im also hearing rumours that Aaron Hall has hurt his Hamstring again. Watch this space. And Scott Lycett is listed as a test, so we wont know yet if ruck rookie S.Hayes makes his debut yet.
