Wednesday 30th April – Early news

Round 4 opener, Port vs Dees teamsheets have dropped, check them out below.

Sam Skinner Owners would be happy with reports his injury was not too bad, and now sad with reports he is out for Tom Clurey (Confirmed). The Demons should regain premiership defenders Lever (in) and Petty (not in) from injury this week. Will this affect Bowies scoring? Also fresh in the news,Taylor Adams will be ruled out this week for Covid H&S protocols. Good news for those Grabbing mid rookie Reef McInnes , who coincidentally signed a new 2 year contract with the pies.

Check out the current injury list here. Serong will likely remain out but Darcy and Mundy are marked as a test. Tucker will be out for at least one for concussion protocols after his nasty collision last week. Regardless there could be some changes at Freo, will Ned O’Driscol and Neil Erasmas make the cut?

Reports are that Preuss pulled up fine this week and should be good to go, but Coach Cameron admitting they may choose Flynn as a second ruck. Also at GWS Nick Haynes has a fitness test, him not being named could improve popular rookie Jake Steins Job Security, already in for Phil Davis. And last but not least, there could be a few changes yet again for the Eagles with multiple coming back from H&S protocol, so players like Hough may find it hard to keep their spot in the 22.

Latest news, early reports that popular rookie Corey Durdin could miss the game this week due to Covid Protocols. Watch this space.

A windy cold day in 2015, I was bored, sick with the flu, and decided to start a blog about Teamsheets. I was immediately recruited by Warnie and somehow am now a DTTALK author. NOTE; Im Back in 2022! woooo Twitter@BaggersShags ~REMEMBER: Friends don't let friends DT TEAMS become ghost ships.

    Bowey on the wing!

      April 6, 2022 at 10:01 pm

I’m actually thinking going McCartin to Bowey as my D6, thoughts?

      • Mike

        April 6, 2022 at 11:18 pm

Gee.. I’ve got Sicily at D6. You definitely want to get McCartin off the field asap. He’ll still earn a little on the bench.

I have both, plus Hinge on Extended Benches :/

      April 8, 2022 at 7:47 am

No, why would you be? If fit they play, indeed for the Hewett owners it seems a good sign as it more than likely means he remains in the mid rotations.

      • Johnsy

        April 8, 2022 at 8:01 am

200 points between them is why Squid! Let’s just hope they get a run

Lol @ ALL those who Reset n Forget. Gawn goes BANG. As if it wasn’t guaranteed that he wouldn’t put up a big score.

Serves you right for sideways trading keepers. DT101

I think we can wait what Preuss gets before we reserve judgement.

However…Those who went English would be sweating.

        April 7, 2022 at 11:27 pm

        Why? He’s my R2 :D

It certainly has justified the set and forget though, you may not be over the moon but R1 going at around a ton is a pass and you wouldn’t be surprised if he smashed a few of these out in a row, looked to have his marking back.

        • Shags

          April 8, 2022 at 8:59 am

Not arguing Gawn isnt a good hold.

Just saying for many that its a equation of Gawn + d6 rookie (McCartin) vs Preuss + another premo (eg. Docherty or Lloyd).

Its still a good trade even if Gawn starts scoring 140s. Preuss also has a lot of cash to make

Its a failed trade if Preuss spuds and is dropped.

Good hold for Gawn if say you traded someone else for Preuss instead ofc :).

          • lizardofoz

            April 9, 2022 at 5:09 pm

Gawn was and is a lousy trade.
