Archie Perkins (FWD, $7,620)
Saturday v Brisbane
Josh Rachele will be a popular pick up forward this weekend, but why not consider Perkins who is about 1.5k cheaper. Perkins scored 70 from 20 disposals in a thumping they received from Geelong. I feel he will go under the radar on Saturday and could be a nice cheap, sneaky option up forward.
Nick Daicos (MID, $10,250)
Saturday v Adelaide
Yeah why not? Coming off 102 last week and 27 touches, this guy can play. I feel he will be a very popular election though but don’t let that deter you. He only plays the Crows, a team that Andrew Brayshaw had 120 on last week. There will be plenty of points flying around in this game and I expect Daicos to ton up again.
Jamaine Jones (FWD, $8,210)
Sunday v Kangaroos
A decimated Eagles team is struggling and they are calling upon guys like JJ to step-up to the plate. He did that last week with 97 and 21 touches and 2 goals to be their 4th highest scorer for the day. When you look down the Eagles list, there are names you won’t even recognise so taking a punt on JJ at this price is worth the shot.
Luke McDonald (DEF/MID, $11,820)
Sunday v West Coast
When Luke plays in the middle… Luke stinks. When Luke plays down back, Luke dominates. Simple. He was down back last week and found plenty of cheap ball with 12 marks, 27 touches for 109pts.
Jack Hayes (RUC/FWD, $10,150)
Sunday v Fremantle
It’s a little bit boring but you better just do it. Coming off 111, Hayes was fantastic in the absence of Ryder but surprisingly he didn’t reply on the time in the middle to score. He only had two hit outs for the day and topped scored for the Saints… even beating Jack Steele.
Andrew McGrath (MID, $12,750)
Saturday v Brisbane
OK.. this one can be on me, but hear me out. Last week McGrath scored an impressive 108 from 29 touches as he floating through his two roles of MID and DEF.
Now, he played 65% game time in defence which is where Houston played last week when he had 150 against the Lions.
I’m not saying he will score 150. But he’ll receive a little boast on his score based on the fact that the Lions let defenders have a bit more space in the back half.
