Good luck and please, gamble responsibly.

Nic Martin (FWD, $6,000)

Debuting for the Bombers is SSP recruit Nic Martin. He played limited minutes in the AAMI pre-season game but even in his 42 per cent game time, he scored 57. Even though he has only been at the club for a few weeks, the Bombers must have liked what they saw and at this price… you can’t really go wrong.

Jarrod Berry (MID, $9,770)

Before the AAMI, Brisbane played a practice game and Berry dominated for 128. In the AAMI he wasn’t as impressive but still managed 86. Berry is at a low price based on his poor 2021 season. However, he has come back bigger than ever and he won’t be at this price for much longer.

Jason Horne-Francis (MID, $8,500)

2022’s No. 1 pick hasn’t put a foot wrong this year scoring 78 in the AAMI. Named on the field for the Roos, JHF is a steal. His ability, plus his form, plus the fact he plays Hawthorn is a huge bonus. The Hawks will be one of the easiest teams to score against this year and JHF should cash in from the first round.

Wayne Milera (DEF, $8,890)

Back after a long spell there is ever reason under the sun to jump on a guy capable of scoring 70+. Although he never featured in any pre-season games, his price is too good too ignore. The Crows have said that he is flying, training strongly and ready to go.

Max Lynch (RUC, $7,880)

Big Boy McEvoy isn’t plying this one which mean that Max Lynch gets a start with his new club. He scored 54 from just 39 per cent time in the AAMI and has never had an opportunity like this and will take it with both hands.

Will Brodie (FWD, $9,340)

This guy is named in the guts. Right in the guts… and with Fyfe not playing, you’d assume he’ll stay there for the majority of the game. During the pre-season the former Gold Coast Sun spent plenty of time in the middle and in return he pilled on bulk points.

As a forward, priced under $10k the risk with Brodie in your DS is minimal. He ticks all the boxes here and in my opinion is one of the ‘must-haves’ of the weekend.
