Cheers Ollie. One thing I’ve always meant to say is I really appreciate you putting players names in bold text so you can quickly skim through and find the relevant ones from your team. It’s the simple things! Thanks mate.

      +1.

P.s. minor typo in the second paragraph of the article, game kicks off at 20:10, not 18:10. Cheers

My team with only 31k in bank and still 2 rookies on field
    Lloyd/Houli/Stewart/Guthrie/B Smith/Rozee (answerth/Naish)
    J Kelly/treloar/macrae/cong/rocky/Duncan/B Crouch/stack (hind/O Baker)
    Grundy/witts (fort/Cameron)
    Boak/dunkley/T Kelly/dusty/Ziebell/Worpel (Atkins/gardener)
J Kelly is first trade then either Rozee or Guthrie
    But
What are people’s thoughts and who to bring in

Is Grant Birchall an option for 350k? What has his averages been in the past and what will his role / TOG look like?

Only an extra 70k on Quaynor as well. Or would Goddard be a better option. This is for on field as well

After so many injuries, Birchall has to be a watch and see,

To answer your question, Birchall has a very dt-friendly game. Ok, he is old but back in his day earlier this decade he was a lock for a top six def and in a season or two, was right up there as a d1, d2, d3. I think he will get some kick ins, +6s and could score well. I doubt he is a serious option though, before his most recent injury, Clarko used him more as a lockdown defender. I think personally Quaynor is the better option but if you like taking risks, Birchall is your man

Any word on whether Eggmolese-Smith will hold his spot? Otherwise Goddard might be the go…

Very hard to offer an opinion on that. I’d say Noble, Goddard, Dunkley, in that order.

I’m thinking of Kelly to Rockcliff, and Logue to Sicily. (I never thought I would take sick dawg, but he is too cheap to ignore.)

Exactly the same thought I had about Sicily.
I’m going Kelly to Cogs and Logue to Sicily
