Now for my best and sneaky best options for today…

Sean Darcy (RUC, $5,200)

The big kid will be rucking solo today, once again in the absence of big Sandilands.

He took over the roll last week for the first time this year and scored a massive 103. Today, he’s up against Bellchambers and that won’t be easy. Witts last week had 79 against the big man and the week before Grundy (122) scored with ease.

The thing is, Darcy is so cheap it doesn’t even matter here. Anything over 75 from the big kid is just a bonus.

Nic Newman (MID, $7,200)

He has been terrible don’t get me wrong. Very poor this year indeed.

BUT… this week he gets another chance against the easiest team to score against in the Gold Coast Suns. Nic has a ceiling of 135 and last year he would tear games like this to pieces.

It’s at the SCG and today, Newman will be very unique and should certainly be considered.

Rory Laird (DEF, $9,800)

Ranking as the 7th most expensive player on offer today, Laird is still value.

The Brisbane Lions are Laird’s bunnies. He smashes them and has scored 114, 110 and 100 in his last three games. Coming off scores of 122 and 110, this guy is simply the best in the business down back.

Be warned though, because the Lions aren’t as easy to score on as you’d think. They rank as the hardest team to score against in the last three weeks. I’m not fussed one bit and believe he goes 120+ at the GABBA tonight.

Colin O’Riordan (DEF, $3,800)

O’ROYdan will be the most popular player selected today and you need to have him in your team.

Firstly, “YES” I am loading up on Swans today for the reasons stated above but this kid on debut was awesome last week with 84. He had 17 touches and 7 marks in that but more impressively he nailed 5 tackles.

Filling the void left by the injured Jarrad McVeigh he should be set for another ripping game here and could get another 80+.

Rory Sloane (MID, $8,900)

Sloane is under $9K and must be locked and loaded.

Firstly, he might cop a tag from Berry or as I call him Poisonberry which is potentially one of the most humorous things I’ve ever said.

Moving on… he has scored 111, 117, 117, 68, 160 and 100 in his last 6 games against them which is super impressive. That 68 though, well in that game he was subbed out in the third quarter and given the red vest. Pick him for his ceiling alone and the fact he is coming off scores of back2back 111’s.

Luke Parker (MID, $8,500)

This one is a little off centre but today, Luke Parker will be unique and out to smash the Suns like he has in the past.

Firstly, they are by far the easiest team to score Fantasy points against, giving up a massive 6×120+ scores over the last three weeks.

In his last three games against the Suns, Parker has had a field day scoring 117, 121 and 102.

Now, what needs to be flagged is the fact he is only coming off 59 last week and that this game is at the SCG where he hasn’t scored a ton this year. This makes him unique.

I’m very happy to overlook all of this. Last time Parker scored under 60, he came out the following week with a 121.

Look… the Suns give up 208 points per game more than the Power. Someone will be cashing in on this and after Zach, Heppell and Devon all went over 120+ last week against them… lock Parker in to do the same.
