I’ve broken this column down into three categories; Studs, Value and Match ups. The studs are the backbone of your team, these are the guys that will score you the most points (hopefully!) Value plays are players that are cheap for the amount of points they are capable of putting up for the game. They allow you to fit more studs into your team. Match ups are players that might be playing a team that’s weak in a specific position. They might be a mixture of studs, mid-priced and value. If you’re tossing up between two players, it generally helps to go the one with the better match up. Balancing out these three categories will give you the best chance of scoring well.
Week 5 contests
Kareem Hunt, RB, Kansas City, $9,400
Has over 100 total yards in all of his games so far and meets Pittsburgh who are top-4 in allowing rushing yards.
Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh, $9,300
Smashed the Jags last week even though his QB was performing terribly.
Le’Veon Bell, RB, Pittsburgh, $9,100
Bell’s last three vs KC are as follows: 17-121-0, 18-144-0, 30-170-0. Here’s hoping he finds the endzone this time.
Todd Gurley, RB, LA Rams, $8,500
I expect Gurley to bounce back big this week against the Jags who allow over 140 yards per game on the ground.
Deshaun Watson, QB, Houston, $8,000
Has 10 TDs over his last two and meets the Browns who are ranked 28th against QBs.
Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans, $5,900
Not that it made much difference last game, but APs departure only solidifies Kamara’s role.
Javorius Allen, RB, Baltimore, $5,900
At the moment it looks like this backfield belongs to Allen. If so he is capable of putting up the 23.6 fantasy points McKinnon had against these Bears last week.
Jerick McKinnon, RB, Minnesota, $5,700
Played 67% of snaps last week. Had 16-95-1 on the ground but it was his 6-51 in receiving which separates him from Murray.
Evan Engram, TE, NY Giants, $5,400
A TE that plays like a WR, it’s a case of the last man standing for the Giants.
Samaje Perine, RB, Washington, $5,000
Kelley is injured which leaves Perine to face the 49ers who give up the fourth-most points to RBs this season.
Redskins left tackle Trent Williams is not practicing today because of his knee issue. Running back Rob Kelley… https://t.co/9IiiUZ28CS

Leonard Fournette, RB, Jacksonville, $8,700
Meets the Rams who have given up the most fantasy points to RBs this season.
Carson Palmer, QB, Arizona, $7,200
Palmer has been forced to throw a lot this season and comes up against a Buccs team that have allowed over 300 passing yards per game so far.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona, $6,700
Fitz is on the field over 95% of the time and averages over 10 targets a game, and has a tasty matchup agains the Buccs who give up the most fantasy points to receivers.
Chris Thompson, RB, Washington, $6,100
After scoring at least one touchdown in each of his first three games, Thompson was inefficient last game, but could bounce back vs the 49ers.
Elijah McGuire, RB, NY Jets, $5,800
Volume will be key here if Powell and Forte are both ailing. Helps that the Patriots are giving up the second-most points to RBs this season.
Bilal Powell is unlikely to play on Sunday, meaning it'll be a Matt Forte-Eli McGuire tandem in the backfield…. https://t.co/4XG6agNPUT
