Try selecting to tade Langdon to Simpson and then a box should drop giving you the option to do that dpp trade.

The seem to have changed that a few weeks back. Last couple of times I tried it it was
          1. select Polec to trade out;
          2. go to the list of your team members on the right of the Trades window. Next to Langdon’s name should be an arrow (a funny-looking one). Click it.
          3. Then select Simpson to trade in.

          And that should do it.

Get both, have to have both. Huge ceilings and utter consistency-both must haves up front.

Danger was flagged by Sando as carrying a hip/lower back injury today. Not much to go on but the guy looked in terrible pain in the 3rd/4th quarters. Knowing him, he probably won’t miss much footy (if any), but due to the fact that his tackle numbers were down today (usually where he gets lots of points) I reckon he’s definitely not 100%. Simply due to that factor I’d get Parker first.

Duds: Not really any ‘duds’ this week, just a few slightly below average
On the Chopping Block: Masten & Higgins
Vent/Brag/Whatever: By the end of this week, hopefully Ill have a set team for the rest of the year (unless Houli can’t ride this form) and moved up 200 in total throughout the byes, so I’m happy :)

Cazalywhitendiggers welcomes Tom rockliff this week. My 22 is.
Defence Simpson Bartel Mcviegh Kelly Swallow Dempsey (bews, aylett)
Mids GAJ Rockliff Pendles Beams Watson Cotchin Selwood Hallahan (Riley, Robertson)
Ruck Sandi Sauce Jacobs (derickx, Currie)
Forwards Parker, Danger, Martin, Nroo, Zorko , Cloke (ambrose, rohan).
My plan is a double downgrade next week. As Cloke, zorko have easy run. Then I’ll trade out hallahan to Stevie J week after. As he will be cheap by then. Then Clokes easy run comes to a end so week after I’ll upgrade him

Is Polec to Beams and Langdon to Bartel a good trade? That would mean Hallahan is on the field.
    Thoughts appreciated. Cheers

yes, imo its a good trade good trade, Bartel is probably the best defender at the moment, I’m going Langford/Langdon to Bartel this week also, and I think that will leave you with a little bit of cash for an upgrade next week?

Schoolboy error, leaving Hallahan on bench cost me 40 points would have been 2nd with 1931 this week

    League Results: W
Studs: Simpson, Suckling, Bartel, Pendles, Beams, Swan, Cotchin, Dalhaus, Darling, Gunston, Jacobs, Wines, D. Martin, Hallahan
Duds: Ablett (c), Langdon, Langford, Hartung, Swallow
On the Chopping Block: Langdon, Langford, Lloyd, Ambrose, Tyson
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Trading out Zorko for Martin was great, torn between him and Danger. Bews for Georgiou was ok since Bews was on the bench. So many rookies to choose from, so many options. Going to trade in a gun mid, maybe Stevie J or Fyfe or Rockliff. Stoked with my score, moved up from 2144 to 328. Gonna push hard to keep moving up the rankings.

Like to thank polec for being a juicy cash cow and reasonable M7. But Rockliff will take it from here

Collingwood players (Pendles, Beams, Pig) and Brisbane (Rocky, Zorks) just for their byes but it’s hard to say who will score the best. Looking at recent form is the best way, so Simpson, Jimmy, Dusty etc all god at the moment

What’s everyones thoughts on Kennedy from Sydney his up in the about the 110 avg and seems to be a bit of a POD

    • toasted

      May 26, 2014 at 7:05 am

I am considering him as well. I have 400k to spend on a premium mid. I already have Gaz, Pendles, Beams, Swan, Watson, Jelwood.
      Kennedy?
      Fyfe?
      Rocky?
      Griffen for a bargain?
      Others?
I am not considering Stevie J as he is too expensive an BE is too high

      May 26, 2014 at 7:35 am

Surely teams will start to lock down on him soon. In the past, he’s been allowed to run free with Hannebury copping the tag but I think he has surpassed Hanners as Sydney’s best midfielder so he will probably get more attention

      • klm

        May 26, 2014 at 9:15 am

Kennedy may get tagged, but he was tagged a little bit by langford, crowley and hocking against their respective teams. Not for the whole game however, but JPK plays an inside role which pretty much makes him untagable. The one time he was completely nullified by a tag was macaffer last year, but JPK has a shocking habit (which he has actually stopped this year) of only giving 100% when his team is in trouble. Sydney walloped the Pies, thus Kennedy’s effort being minimal. If you want a POD, lock him in, but expect a few up and downs. Will definitely average over 100 and just to let you know he is the highest averaging player over his last five games than anyone else in the competition- even Rocky and even Ablett before his dismal 78!

But despite this I would still go with Rocky. The lad is a superstar, even when his team gets belted.

    May 26, 2014 at 7:17 am

Lololololol. Not having Ablett has been killing me all year, so I finally paid top dollar to get him in SC and RDT, and of course he gets his lowest score for the year…. (as captain).

That’s now happened to me with Boyd, Zorko, N Roo, Ablett, J.Merret.
I’m starting to believe I really do have some kind of powers.. -_-

Anyone else thinking Goddard ($490k)? Haven’t seen him mentioned much as an upgrade target. Take out his score of 13 and he’s averaging 112 with a low score of 95. I’ll be straight swapping Macrae to him at this stage. Is there a reason why no one is getting him?

    • Rosco Peco

      May 26, 2014 at 4:10 pm

I am very much considering Goddard, but don’t tell anyone!!!

It’s interesting no one is really talking him up, there was plenty of talk a couple of weeks ago. Like you said Stuart, he’s averaged 112 taking out his injury effected game, hasn’t dropped below 95, and if you look at the fixture, he’s coming up against RICH (120 avg) and GWS (104 avg) over the next couple of weeks, then finishes off the year (fantasy finals time) against

Round 20 vs. RICH (120 avg)
Round 21 vs. WCE (101 avg)
Round 22 vs. GCS (125 avg)
Round 23 vs. CARL (111 avg)

Pretty decent numbers in the highest scoring fantasy team in Essendon!
