Fantasy notes and injury updates – Rd. 8

Late changes, subs, injuries and more tracked in the weekly notes.

Warnie looks at a few of the key notes such as injuries and substitutes along with any key Fantasy stats of relevance from each game.

Friday

Carlton v Brisbane

Keidean Coleman (hamstring) was subbed out in the final quarter after surrering injury in third term.

Josh Dunkley was the eighth player of all-time to have a quadruple double. 22 kicks, 11 handballs, 11 marks, 13 tackles.

Nic Newman has been suspended for a week.

Sam Docherty played in the midfield but switched back later in the game.

Richmond v West Coast

Jai Culley (knee) is suspected to have done his ACL.

Oscar Allen (knee) copped a knee knock and was strapped up in the last.

Geelong v Adelaide

Patrick Dangerfield (hamstring) tweaked his left hammy and was subbed out. He believes it is minor, but is likely to miss until his bye according to sources.

Gold Coast v Melbourne

Late change: Daniel Turner replaced Michael Hibberd (managed) in the selected side.

Jacob van Rooyen has been offered two weeks by the MRO.

Charlie Ballard (head knock) was stretchered off in the last term after being hit by JVR. He had already had a HIA in the first half.

Brayden Fiorini (89) and Rory Atkins (86) were popular ins this week and both performed well for their new Fantasy owners.

Clayton Oliver kept his ton run going.

Late change: Daniel Lloyd replaced Toby Greene (ankle) in selected side.

Zak Butters (knee) hobbled off the ground with a knee injury but returned.

Collingwood v Sydney

Nick Daicos copped attention from Ryan Clarke, before moving to a MID/FWD role.

Peter Ladhams (shoulder/neck) copped it at the first bounce, but after HIA he was back on. Only played 51% TOG.

Marc Sheather (knee) was subbed out after hyperextending his left knee.

Taylor Adams (ankle) was reported to have injured his left ankle.

North Melbourne v St Kilda

Rowan Marshall (ankle) spent a fair bit of time on the bench at the end of the game getting his ankle checked out. Ross Lyon said he will be fine for next week.
