It seems that AFL Dream Team is undergoing a bit of a change. If you have been taking notice on Twitter, Facebook, AFL website, etc, you would have noticed a lot of references to AFL Fantasy. Is it a name change for DT or something more?
Before you panic, AFL Dream Team is staying. The salary cap game that we have been playing for 10 years will stay in it’s “normal” form (albeit a few rule changes for 2013). The whole AFL Fantasy term seems to be a broad name for all of the products that will be offered through the AFL website; DT being one of them. We will also see a new draft game (a HUGE overhaul from the DT Pro games that Assistant Coach subscribers have been playing). This will be available for free. Apparently there will be some other things that come under the AFL Fantasy umbrella… but we have no idea what they are as yet. Something to look forward to when they make the announcement on all of it in the coming weeks.

So what does this mean for “DT” Talk? Well, Dream Team still exists, and so will we! We’re not looking at any name change in the near future but we will evolve as the game continues to evolve so expect some draft content on here this pre-season and throughout the season.
We are gearing up for a huge year! Make sure you stay tuned to DT Talk throughout the pre-season (especially at the moment for the awesome Deck of DT) and stay connected with us on Twitter (@DTTALK) and Facebook (facebook.com/DTTALK).
