🚨 FLAGS KEEP ‘EM OUT 🚨

Making a top-5 list is always a tricky task… but when we do so, we need to make sure we are limiting the ‘risks’ and making sure we are weighing up… form, history, what teams give up… and of course “RISK” which comes in many shapes and forms. Here are some players that ‘nearly’ made the cut that could still be massive… they all made my top-10, but here’s why they didn’t quiet make the cut.

Bontempelli – he should dominate the Bombers but the issue is… he never has. He has tried, but failed 13 out of his 14 games, only scoring 110+ against them once in his career. So what do they do to him… or doesn’t he try? Now… needs to be said, with his form he could still be my VC this week due to his ceiling and the fact that the Bombers suck… or does history repeat itself again?

Wanganeen-Milera – Love the dude and he should have a day out against the Demons like many have this year. Coming off scores of 151, 73 and 145… it’s not hard to see the game he got tagged in round 18. Now this could happen again with Ed Langdon who has been doing jobs this year – there’s the risk…. and he can’t be a VC.

Brayshaw – Weird… but Brayshaw always struggles against the Eagles who everyone has been dominating. Over his career, they are his worst team to score against. He did score 110 against them in round 3 so he’ll be fine… it’s just weird that his numbers in the Derby are the worst across his career.
