  • Team Name: Christian Petractor
    Round 2 Scores: 2012
    League Results: W
Studs: Laird, Titch, J and T Kelly, Smith, Holman, Christensen, Finlayson
Duds: HIbberd, Lloyd, Treloar, Billings, Martin, Gawn
On the Chopping Block: Hibberd, Treloar
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Very ordinary week with Hibberd yet again killing me, really thinking of getting rid of him this week. Treloar’s another one that I might look to move on, looked pretty slow out there and if I downgrade to a Coniglio or Cripps I could get Hibberd up to Simpson

  • Team Name: CB20
    Round 2 Scores: 1977…
    League Results: L
Studs: Laird, Titch, Finalyson, Jelly, Cogs, Holaman, Nank, Smith.
    Duds: Everyone else.
On the Chopping Block: Everyone. Delete team.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: 30k overall. No Tim Kelly has ruined my entire season, got Rayner instead in essence.
Rayner has to go, Kelly has to get in even though it’s already too late. Beams out until Round 15 too. Holding Zerrett against dogs.

  • Team Name: The Spudtaculars
    Round 2 Scores: 2050
    League Results: WLWW
Studs: Laird, Touhy, Finlayson, Titch, Sloane(VC), Kelly, Holman, Hogan, Taranto, Ryan
Duds: Sicily, O’Shea, Zerrett, O’Meara, Stef, Gawn, Billings
On the Chopping Block: Zerrett, Dow
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Traded out Mills even after 90 last week. Didn’t like his role and ended scoring 50 this week.

  • Team Name: The Hornets

    Round 2 Scores:2133

    League Results: Win all

Studs: Titch, Kelly, Cogs, Finlayson, Smith, Gibbs, Ryan

    Duds: Billings, Merret

On the Chopping Block: Merret but ive lost so much money I may need to just hold

Vent/Brag/Whatever: Going petracca>taranto for some money and potential higher score, unsure about second trade, got lucky with greene being a late out so I got ryans 91. Inside the top 2000 after what I thought was a just ok week so pretty happy with that.

  • Team Name: hjckr
    Round 2 Scores: 2072
    League Results: W
Studs: Titch, HOGAN!!, Cogs, T. Kelly, Smith, Finlayson, Holman, Christensen
Duds: Beams, O’Meara, Sicily, Gawn, Lloyd, Billings, Petracca
    On the Chopping Block: Beams
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Parker, Lloyd and Bonner were all headed for the ton before Port started winning. I blame it all on Port.

  • Team Name: Pj’s Pros
    Round 2 Score : 2102
    League Results : WWW
Studs: Cogs, Finlayson, Titch, Laird, Holman, Parker, Jkelly, Whitfield, Tkelly, Smith
    Duds: Murray, Rayner! LLoyd, SMartin
    On the Chopping Block: Rayner.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Ranked 750 after a nice start… Almost have no idea what to do from here seeing as I’m pretty have with my rooks. Might look to ditch Stef and upgrade somewhere in the backline but not really sure.. thoughts?

  • 2,142.
Not bad considering I was missing Greene and Duncan, and stupidly put English in the fwds. Not as good as last week but still moved into the top 400.

  • FevsBingles

    Team Name: Fev’s Bingles
    Round 2 Scores: 2057
    League Results:
Studs: Laird, Simpson, Finlayson, Mitchell, Cripps, Neale, Coniglio, Kelly, Holman, Jacobs, Smith.
Duds: Sicily, Murrey, Crouch, Gawn, Billings, Rayner.
On the Chopping Block: Crouch & Rayner.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: “Hello Darkness My Old Friend.”

  • 1993 points.

    +3 taranto finlayson and kelly
-3 Billings, Gawn, Lloyd, Merrett, Petracca, Rayner, Beams, Duncan (!!),

My team looks awesome on paper but 7 of my “premos” scored 70s. I’ll be going Rayner to Liam Ryan and one of Duncan, Merrett and Beams to Gibbs.

    What a terrible terrible week.

  • JungleMuffin
    Duds: Ellis, T Greene.

#21 for the round and now 340th overall. Wasn’t too far off winning another prize. Would have got 2nd or 3rd if got my bench right. Would be sitting in top 10 if I’d gotten my rookie selections right these last 2 weeks.

Not bad considering I didn’t start researching/building my team until the night before lockout xD

    • Congrats JMuffin – glad Selwood came through and played for you. That’s an awesome score.

I was thinking at the start of the day I might be able to match you if Sicily/O’Meara had good 90+ games. My shot at fame didn’t work out….

      • Cheers mate. I definitely got lucky and overachieved this round.

You still scored well above average this round, so you’ve got a good team. It’s a marathon, so you’ll have a few more chances before the season’s over. Good luck!

  • Team Name:Tips for Dim wits
    Round 2 Scores:2165
    League Results:WWWWW
    Studs:Laird, Titch, Whitfield
Duds:None really, dissapointing from billings and Petracca but a 70 isnt the worst result
On the Chopping Block:Very unsure, 2 luxury trades at the moment – maybe try and get Devon smith in because i dont wanna miss out on that everyweek
Vent/Brag/Whatever:Sitting pretty at top 500 and climbing; the dream is real

  • Team Name: Pinkys Legends
    Round 2 Scores: 2028
    League Results: W
Studs: Titch, Kelly, Smith, Laird, Fyfe, Whitfield
    Duds: Crouch, Gawn, Stef, Rayner
On the Chopping Block: Crouch & Rayner
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Not my best week but thank god for TITCH!

  • Team Name: The Package Has Been Delivered
    Round 2 Scores:2147
    League Results: W
Studs: Laird, Finlayson, Titch, Ablett, Kelly, Coniglio, Kelly, Holman, Smith and Christensen.
Duds: Lloyd, Murray, Stef, Gawn and Billings
On the Chopping Block: Nobody :)
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Gary Ablett for POD of the year

  • 2121 here.

Duds & low scores on ground: O’Shea, O’Meara, Sicily, Murray, Fristch, Waterman

Trades: if no selection changes next week, I’m looking at luxury trades. Don’t think I’ve yet missed the boat on Tim Kelly. Will trade out Banfield (who was tagging a bit last game), and one of O’Shea/Naughton to make the cash for it.

  • Team Name: True Beavers
    Round 2 Scores: 2045
    League Results: L
    Studs: Titch, Kelly, Laird, Whitfield
    Duds: Young, Rayner
On the Chopping Block: Young & Rayner
Vent/Brag/Whatever: I am happy with my strategy – trades this week will give me a good forward line with cash to improve the backline next week/week after to set up for the DPPs later. Other than Rayner my rookies are doing okay. Of course injuries could stuff this up completely

  • by the way if you really hate a particular player and want to see them seriously injured, you monster, just let me know and i’ll trade them into my fantasy team.

    • haha – that was me last year. Of course the season is young, it still might be me this year

    • That’s me with Sicily. It crossed my mind to pick him before round 1, but I hate him and couldn’t bring myself to do it.

      • I picked him, against my better judgement! He’s too bloody hot-tempered. And now it looks like he might be in trouble with the mrp. If he does cop a suspension it’ll be just the excuse I need to offload him – his scores have been pretty poor anyway.

  • Round 2 Scores: 2110
    League Results: WWWWW
Studs: Laird, Finlayson, Titch, Dusty, both Kellys, Devon Smith
    Duds: Merrett, Rayner
    On the Chopping Block: Rayner
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Pretty annoyed that my trades were reversed after lockout for whatever reason and so I wasn’t able to get Rayner out. Luckily my team was unscathed after last week so it wasn’t a complete disaster. If my trades went through I would have got another 60 points or so (and got price rises from Acres and Crowden).

  • Mitchell had at least 2 more tackles than they gave him. Umpires almost gave Geelong that game too.
Why oh why did I ever choose Rampe, you are done son!

  • Score: 2121
    Studs: t.kelly,laird,j.kelly,titch,d.smith,dusty
    Duds: zerrett, Rocky, billings,gawn
Trades: the bloke not known as pig anymore

  • Bye bye Merrett and Rayner. Do I get…

    Buddy and Barry

or Ryan and Macrae/Cripps/Whitfield/Jelwood (pick one)

  • Team Name:but I like vanilla!
    Round 2 Scores:1978
    League Results:LL
Studs:Mitchell, Coniglio, T Kelly, Walters, D Smith, Finlayson
    Duds:Mills, O’Shea,
On the Chopping Block: M Hibberd C Mills (I am worried Mills goes Jack Billings ’17 on me though)
Vent/Brag/Whatever:at least I got rid of rocky….thank god for T Mitchell
It’s a terrible score & round, but hey, Cape Town is nearly out of water, so hey, I guess things aren’t that bad.
    Ranking outside 5000.

  • Are we getting a bit carried away with Zerrett? Bloke had a concussion affected game. Then had to fly to Perth and got a hard tag, probably wasn’t 100% either. Bloke is still a top 4-5 mid in my eyes

    • He’ll likely keep copping attention though

      • Even with tagging attention, I think Zerret will end up overcoming it to be a top 6-7 mid…

I am one of the lucky ones to of not picked him early…Looked overpriced…

Monitoring the breakeven score, and once it turns good, he will be a perfect uptrade target most likely in 2-4 rounds time….

  • Caddy to Taranto

    Dow to D.Barry

Hold caddy or not hold ?

  • Team Name: Gawn 4 A Quick Nank
    Round 2 Scores: 2126
    League Results: W
Studs: Laird, Hurley, Finlayson, Titch, Kelly, Cogs, Kelly, Smith
Duds: Lloyd, Stef, Gawn, Billings, Lobb, Fritsch
    On the Chopping Block: Lobb
Vent/Brag/Whatever: yeah nah not bad wanted 2200 tho
    what was par this week?

  • Team Name: doug’s destroyers
    Round 2 Scores: 1994
    League Results: W
Studs: laird, mitchell, Tim kelly, doedee, Selwood, Smith, Christensen
Duds: Mills, Sicily, Treolar, O’meara, Stef, Gawn, Billings, Young
On the Chopping Block: Young, Mills, Sicily
Vent/Brag/Whatever: shocking start to year ranked 10K after coming 16th last year. keep stuffing up what rookies to put on field.

  • Team Name: Crazed Turkey
    Round 2 Scores: 2088
    League Results: W
Studs: Laird, Yeo, Finlayson, Cogs, Tith, Kelly, Ryan and Smith
Duds: Lloyd, Sic, JOM, Dow, Nic Nat, Gawn, English and Greene – wtf happened to him?
On the Chopping Block: Dow, Nic Nat and potentially TOG
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Great week for rookies but a disappointing output from someone of my premos (#TOG)

  • Mr Burns

    Team Name: The Snouts
    Round 2 Scores: 2028
    League Results: NA
Studs: Laird, Simpson, Yeo, Mitchell, Neale, Tim Kelly, Bundy and Liam Ryan
Duds: Matt Crouch, Duncan, Treloar (or rather, Bucks for playing him forward), Stef+Gawn, Sicily
On the Chopping Block: Crouch, Sicily
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Surprised to only drop to from ~1200 to 3196 overall with Crouch’s 33 and very few 100s this week. Duncan owes me 150 this week.

  • Team Name: Slappin’ It
    Round 2 Scores: 2165
    League Results: W
Studs: Laird, Yeo, Finlayson, Titch, Gaz, Dusty, Kelly, Devon Smith.
Duds: Murray, O’Meara, Gawn, Nic Nat.
On the Chopping Block: Pretty happy overall. Ruck was a bit weak but overall pretty good.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Is actually my 2nd team, my main team is ranked around 13,000. But this team is up at 81 which I’m very happy with and going to be putting a lot more effort into:)

    • also ranked 3rd overall in the Melbourne league which I’m happy with.

    • So what you’re saying is you don’t want to win anything?

      From the terms and conditions:

“Only one Eligible Entry per Eligible Participant (and per email address supplied) will be accepted. Eligible Participants may also choose to participate in private or public leagues, which will not affect their score calculation in any way.”

If you win any prize, you will be ineligible due to having multiple entries (don’t think they won’t check)

      • Yep. Super unfair if some get two chances and others only one.

        • Unfortunately nothing you can do. His 2nd team is probably in another family members name, so no proof that he actually has 2 teams..

  • Team Name: Hellborn Demons
    Round 2 Scores: 2119
    League Results: N/A
    Studs: Fyfe, Smith, Titch, Jelwood
Duds: JOM, Hibberd, Lobb, Sicily, Stef/Gawn
On the Chopping Block: Lobb experiment has failed. JOM needs to move on, maybe to Coniglio
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Ranked inside top 4000 (3188) and only about 200 off the pace with the top side so well within striking range.

Will hold Hibbo as you have to back in your premos (unless they are Rocky). Will try and bring in Coniglio and chase a low BE rookie

    • Multiple teams is for people who don’t believe they can win.

Loser say, I have an excuse, winners say “I have a plan”

To use the words of a wise man from here, good luck in 2019 Fawcett

  • I reckon Rayner will become the next Nathan Freeman if he holds his job.
Sorry Cam You have to go! Can’t afford to keep you.

  • At least you are not alone Wise Guy

  • Team Name: On Fyfe Support
    Round 2 Scores: 2021
    League Results: W, L
Studs: laird (c through loophole), titch, coniglio, selwood, kelly holman
Duds: hibberd, sicily, merrett, stef, max, billings, McCartin,
On the Chopping Block: McCartin, hibberd, billings
Vent/Brag/Whatever: McCartin is gone, thought it might work out but not to be, next year…, had too many duds this week and with zerret and rocky last week im only just scraping the top 20 000 (19 990)which is poor seeing i places inside the top 3000 last year, lets hope we can trade our way up

  • Last week I had ZMerrett and Burton combine for a grand total of 42… this week I brought in M Crouch. That’s over $2.1 million spent for a return of 75 points.
I’d like to say that if you ever needed proof that ass beats class, just read that last sentence again… Yet somehow, somehow after two disastrous rounds, over 80,000 teams have scored less? It’s gonna be a long season!

    Team: Smurphs
    Score: Well under 2k
    Studs: Laird
Duds: Pretty much the other 29.

  • Team Name: The Frozen Team
    Round 2 Scores: 2095
    League Results: WW
Studs: Laird, Finlayson, Titch, Cogs, Fyfe, T. Kelly, Holman, Devon
    Duds: Murray, Crouch, O’Meara, Tracca
On the Chopping Block: Ben Long, Crouch
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Ranked 254 overall so can’t complain. Happy to get the league win even with Crouch
Trading Crouch to Whitfield assuming dpp and Long to Ryan.

  • Team Name: Pavs men
    Round 2 Scores: 2125
    League Results: Win
Studs: Laird, Finlayson, doedee. Titch, gibbs, dusty, coniglio, kelly, holman. smith, ryan.
Duds: lloyd, sicily, murray. beams, neale. stef martin, gawn. heeney, langdon, fogarty, fritsch
On the Chopping Block: beams, s martin and rayner (benched)
Vent/Brag/Whatever: jeremy finlayson, tim kelly, nick holman and liam ryan, wowieeee. absolutely loved the scores from all my rookies this week including all on the bench getting 60+ other than english and rayner. knew that stef and gawn would have shit weeks as they were playing eachother. thoughts on who should get boot and who to bring in. cheers

  • Team Name: albertos_cats
    Round 2 Scores: 1905
    League Results: WWW (wtf?!)
Studs: Laird, Titch, Jelwood, T.Kelly, D.Smith
Duds: Hibbo, R.Clarke, Beams, Tracca, Gawn, NicNat, English, Billings
On the Chopping Block: R.Clarke & Beamer
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Thought I’d take a chance on a unique POD in R.Clarke, but f***, he goes to the never again pile, ever.. Hibberd is bleading cash, but need to keep him for 1 more week unfortunately..

Trading Beams to Gray with Fogarty going MID and dumping Clarke for Simpson down back

  • Team Name:West Sydney Hitmen
    Round 2 Scores:1890
    League Results:WL
    Studs:Titch Laird Smith
    Duds:I have Zerrett Duncan & Crouch :(
    On the Chopping Block:Dow Rayner
Vent/Brag/Whatever: I Have 5 gun mids & 3 of them are Zerrett Duncan & Crouch :( I will have to say goodbye to crouch this week i think. Can’t hold him when there is doubts over Duncan & Zerrett not performing well yet.
