    On the Chopping Block: zorko

  • Team Name: The Wookie
    Round 13 Scores: 1981
    League Results: bit of both
Studs: God dard, Bartel, Ebert (these 3 got almost 1/4 of my score)
Duds: Chris Scott and Nathan Buckley
On the Chopping Block: Docherty and maybe Riewoldt
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Awesome trades this week; Hooker to Bartel
Cox to Martin (onfield), but I learn’t one thing today, you can’t cover a beams and a johnson with a shenton.!

  • Libba (Port) or Rocky (Freo and Crowly)

    • Rocky might not get the tag, Crowly could go to Redden, Zorko or Hanley. But to be safe i’d go with Libba. I think Griffen will get tagged

  • Team Name:
    Round 13 Scores: 2131
    League Results: W
Studs: Bartel, Langdon, Ablett, Pendles, Barlow, Ebert, Dusty, Big Boy Mcgovern
    Duds: Jelwood, Sheils, Danger, Gunston
On the Chopping Block: Gunston, Sheils and maybe Langdon or Jelwood
    Vent/Brag/Whatever: Not to bad week.
This is why I stay away from steive J

  • Team Name: Dingus
    Round 13 Scores: 1824
    League Results: 2W 4L
Studs: Ebert, Gaz, Pendles, Dusty, Harvey
Duds: KK, Nroo, Derickx, Cox, Stevie J, Beams, Jelwood
On the Chopping Block: KK, Derickx, Cox
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Apart from generally not being able to handle peak times on the FanHub servers, they haven’t been too bad recently. ~2 hours for lockout to finish is solid.

    Round 13 Scores: 2134
    League Results:WW
Studs:Bartel, Langdon, JamesKelly, Lobbe, plenty of solid 70+ scores
    Duds:Jelwood(c), Beams(LW), Nroo
On the Chopping Block: Dom Tyson, anyone who is injured or not playing.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Am going to go Dom Tyson>SJ. SJ at a cheap price and a good run home, should be good if he stays injury free. My whole team is pretty good but I still have an incomplete forward line that needs work.

  • Trade or hold Nick Riewoldt?

  • Thoughts on
    Ambrose – Gray
    Hallahan – Miles

I don’t have harvey but I’m 10k short of him and there don’t seem to be any downgrade options. O’brien is my M10 and Miles would be M9.
    Thoughts please?

  • Thoughts on jumping on Judd for a few weeks as a cash grab? Unsure on his break even but cost under 400k and could average 90+
This also means I can go tex to boomer with the cash I free up (Cotchin to Judd)

    • I think your better off going to Miles if it is only for a couple of weeks. Cost you 100k less and should average about the same one would think.

  • Swan and Gray or Liberatore and Chapman ??

  • Thoughts Langdon or Tyson to Barlow?

  • cheers @Stevo

  • does anyone know what grundys BE is this week ……… yes im still stuck with him, until next round
and whats mumfords adn jacobs aswell

  • Gray or parker. Getting one this week one next week

    • if you’re definitely getting both get gray this week as he is rising and parker will drop a bit

  • Team Name: Juppys Jugganaughts
    Round 13 Scores: 2075
    League Results: L
Studs: Bartel, Goddard, Ablett, Stefan Martin, Hoff, Pendles, Griffen, Heppel, Cotch to an extent, Langdon
Duds: Rocky as my captain, Danger, Parker, Zorko, Simpson, Riewoldt
    On the Chopping Block: Riewoldt!!!!
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Dont know what to do with my team :(((

  • N. Jones to ebert ? Or m Murphy to pendels ?

  • Want to do those Sunday night trades now, and I’m looking for a D7 under 330k. Looking at Tom Bugg? Only gone under 70 twice, has worn the vest twice but looks to have sorted his JS out. Good pick? Also bringing in Miles at M9

    • I would like to see your team first but I don’t think Bugg is worth it, he’s ok but there has to be other things you can do.

      • Well I only have Stef Martin playing on my bench ATM so I need to bring in some players that are going to play. At the moment I’ve gone Hallahan->Miles and I want to trade Langford out. AS there are no downgrade options in defence I need to look at a sideways trade unfortunately, but I don’t want to miss out on Miles you see. In regards to my on-field team, the only rookie on my field currently is Langdon, and I’m happy having him sitting at D6, so no other trades to do IMO. So Bugg? Maverick Weller is another option at 240k, but yeah not really anyone else

        • Ibbotson is down to 334k now, was going pretty good last year before injury, can be fairly inconsistent though

  • Parker or Harvey? ? And why

  • Or gray

    • Harvey because he’s a gun. He is the highest averaging forward and has a pretty big ceiling

  • Team Name: Cotchie’s Cubs
    Round 13 Scores: 2304 (Rank 44th)
    League Results: WWW
Studs: Bartel, Hanley, Gaz (C), Pendles, Barlow, Goddard, Griffen, Cotch, Swannie, Jacobs, Dusty, Martin, Elliott
    Duds: Chappy, Jaensch, Birchall, Danger
On the Chopping Block: No performances this week were poor enough to warrant an immediate cut from the team
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Had 13 100+ scores and only 3 under 75. Traded in Jaensch over Kelly this week which could of helped my score a little more. Only trades i can see myself making this week are probably Currie (after news of his injury) & either Roughie/Jaensch/Hallahan/Ambrose

  • This is the dilemma that ill be going through all week. With 250k in the bank should i go:

which 2 of Zorko, Riewoldt, Tex, to
which 2 to get out of Harvey, Franklin, Gray?

If i go Tex > Harvey the other trade has to be to Buddy whos cheaper. Thoughts would be great!

    • I would say Harvey and Gray are the best combo to get.

But considering that if you get Harvey (which is a must) you can’t get Gray, then I would get Harvey and Buddy.

As for the players you want to trade out, I would keep Zorko because I think he will outscore Riewoldt and Tex for the rest of the season. That’s not because Zorko is going to tear it up (probably will average around 90) but Roo and Tex are key forwards who have some off games.

  • Team Name: s 2the peckies
    Round 13 Scores: 2157
    League Results: W
Studs: Bartel, Kelly, Barlow, Ablett (c), Pendlebury, Swan, Cotchin, Heppell, Martin, Jacobs,
    Duds: Beams, Riewoldt, Dangerfield, Parker
On the Chopping Block: Hallahan, Langford, Derrickx
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Amusing round, I went up to 317 somehow. I didn’t manage to reverse my trades and then realised Gunston was out. I traded Dangerfield in for Darling which was almost a waste. So I traded the wrong guy but Ambrose bettered Darling anyways so in theory not much wasted. Ablett captin was great, trading Barlow in was safe, was going to trade in McGlynn but his out meant I went Dangerfield instead. Really happy I managed to go up. Now it’s to figure out whether I do 1 downgrade and 1 upgrade or 2 sideways. Maybe with all this carnage I should do the former option.

  • Team Name: Hodgys Heroes (Fantasy)
    Round 13 Scores: 1988
    Studs:Bartel,Liber,Ablett,Pendles,Ellis,S&D Martin
    Duds:Jaench,Beams,Stevie J,Rocky(c)
On the Chopping Block: Maybe Hallahan and Zorko
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Wouldn’t mind a heads up next time Beams and Stevie!
Looking at getting Harvey”not so”Fresh and Promising sweet Honey Church.

  • Actually I’m feeling a double downgrade this week. Give all my premos 1 more week to impress. I’m going derickx to low den and ambrose to Tunbridge. 312k in the bank with 22 premos. I can double upgrade next week

  • Well done to those who were able to trade in McGovern and Martin last round.

What’s the consensus this week? Should we still be chasing these guys for cash or focus on upgrading to premos??

Now is the time for me to trade Tyson but have a few rookies on the bench so thinking to grab one of the above guys. Do they have strong JS?

  • Team Name: Turbos Team
    Round 13 Scores: 2053
    League Results: WWWWWLL
    Studs: Ebert,Sauce,D.Martin,S.Martin,Langdon,Hibbo,Barlow,Pendles
    Duds: Burgoyne,Rocky,Higgins,Chappy,Zorko,Dangerfield
    On the Chopping Block: Higgins

  • Team Name: Spoon Winners 2k14
    Round 13 Scores: 1941
    League Results: W W L
Studs: Ablett, Pendlebury, Barlow, D.Martin, Fyfe, Jacobs, S.Martin
Duds: N.Riewoldt, Rockliff (C), Parker, Dangerfield, Simpson, Jaensch
    On the Chopping Block: N.Riewoldt
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Late withdrawals of Johnson and Beams hurt me. End of the road Nick Riewoldt, St Kilda simply aren’t good enough to give him enough service so he has to go.

  • Team Name: Ultimate Piggery

Round 13 Scores: 2086 Fantasy and 1987 RDT

    League Results: WWWWW

    Studs: C.Ward, B.Ebert, B.Harvey, J.Kelly, M.Lobbe

    Duds: S.Johnson, D.Beams, J.Gunston

    On the Chopping Block:

Vent/Brag/Whatever: Dean Cox to Stefan Martin trade worked an absolute treat. Copped a midfield donut with the double late withdrawals of SJ and Beama. Also had to play Lennon on the ground due to Gunstons omission.

  • Arggh kicking myself with Rocky as his stats were convincing. Should have known that GWS have a knack of limiting DT points from their opponents. ESS #1 DT team had only one player 100+ and then also Hawks with 1 100+ week before that… hmmmm.. don’t put C on Simpson or Murphs this week ;)

  • Team name: Muppets (RDT)
    Score: 2130
    League results: WWWW
Studs: Libba, Bartel, Enright, Gaz, Jones, Ebert, Suckling, Jacobs, Dusty, Pendles
Duds: Jelwood, Danger, Parker, Wingard, Zorko
Mega duds: Beams & Rockliff (C)
On the chopping block: Derickx & Ambrose
Vent: F*** you Rockliff & Jelwood, you 2 were supposed to go big fail fail fail, had to take Shenton’s 63 for Beams, getting rid of Ambrose & Derickx for Martin & Miles and moved Shenton up forward from mids, hopefully they turn out to be quality bench cover (Sandi cover in particular). Moved up to 88th with that score from 123rd but I still don’t know why I’m ranked that high as I haven’t cracked 2200 yet this season & probably won’t at this rate.

  • Team Name: tempus fugit

    Duds: Jaensch, DBeams = doughnut
On the Chopping Block: Jaensch, JLloyd -> double downgrade ->McGovern, Miles … at this stage.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Surprised to have got over 2100 with a doughnut. It now puts me at rank 8314… happy days!

  • Team Name: MAZMIA

    League Results: WWWWW
Studs: Harvey, Gaz, Gibbs, Bartel, Schulz (1st Inclusion this week), Hawkins(2nd), Suckling, Lobbe,
    Duds: Pav, BEAMS (C), Parker
On the Chopping Block: Lumumba, Pavlich, Langford or McDonald
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Ok, so here is my rant. This new saving thing. Beams has been my skip for the last couple of weeks. This week with Geelong playing the saints at the chattery, I changed to Jimmy Bartel. It didn’t save, I got Beams as cap. Late withdrawal, K.Simpson is Vice, he got 81, Jimmy got 148!!! I could have got 2260!!!!!
