Footy’s back! I’m pumped, @JeppaDT‘s pumped – you’re probably pumped-ish too.

Still, we have a few tricky obstacles to navigate coming into the second weekend of Round 1 with the confusing web of Lockouts that we have going on.

Thankfully, we’re all over it! In this week’s podcast we take a close Game-by-Game look at the matches played, with a watchful eye on the issues we face in Week 2. Once again, Jeppa channels his Rookie knowledge into audio format, making this a must-listen if you’re 50-50 on any rookies as we close out this ridiculously drawn-out Round 1.

  • Haven’t even listened to it but after the last 4 I know it will be another beaute so thanks in advance.

  • Currie turned 25 recently so maybe is coming into his best years. Wouldn’t be hard to outdo previous years I guess, 1 game would do it

  • I selected my vice captain last week (beams) but I did not select a captain. This week when I put Masten in my side I selected him as captain.
But just now when I went into my team, I took the captain off him in order to select a non playing rookie as my captain, but I now cannot even choose a captain. I am unsure if I will even get the VC double score.

    • You need to click on the players now, then you can deselect the captaincy from the pop-up profile.

  • AFL Fantasy is not very user friendly.

  • 4 Weeks not months:)

  • Great listen guys! Bit of a left field selection, but is anyone considering Ellard from Carlton as a cheap midfielder in Fantasy ($224k)? Proven scorer when he gets a game, or is there better value out there? (Already have Polec, Ellis, Michie and Tyson as the other rookies).

    • am not sold on michie he may get game time but cant see him pumping out reliable scores and wont spend as much time in mid as many would expect i think there are better out there for the price like dunstan or crouch

      • he did rack up 30 possies a game last year in the wafl, might just take a bit of time at AFL level?

    • Luke Dunstan maybe? Big bodied, ready made midfielder for the Saints taken at pick #17 last year I believe. 218k and should average quite nicely, also has fantastic job security

  • Cant decide between jobe watson or tom rockliff essendon have more winnable games early in the season and the chance rock will get heavily tagged each week are a concern but the guy is a proven jet am torn.

    • Ive gone with Watson. A little bit cheaper and should be a bit more consistent. In saying that Rocky could go bang its just a bit more of a risk

  • Awesome stuff Tbetta and Jeppa

  • who should I go with out of roughy or kennedy? Keep in mind, I already have gunston

  • Someone please tell me why there is no match centre and whether there ever will be?
