  • Chop chop… 2146 this week.

Out with 2 rage trades (Broughton & Golby) welcome aboard Goddard & Clarke. (Had the G man until 1 day before lock out and got rid of him… FMDT)! I can rest easy knowing that this is all reversible.

  • Team Name: The Bluebaggers
    Round 2 Score: 2088
    DT Studs: Goddard,Deledio,Boyd,Giles,Kreuzer
    DT Duds: Shaw,Martin,Hall,Pavlich,Goodes,Franklin
    On the Chopping Block: Gilbert,Montagna,Martin,Pavlich,Shaw
Round 3 trades: Wingard for Newnes and Pfefier for Milera
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Combination of Giles and Kreuzer Total 198 points 443,800 spent

  • Only piece of advice I can give is that the aim of the game is to have 22 guns on the field come finals time.

If your trading a Gun for a Gun, a mid for a mid or a rook for a rook, your team is not advancing, it’s staying right where it was the week before. Less 2 trades.

I’d only be trading out non playing rookie’s for playing rookie’s right now.

    • So the money you get to keep by sideways to a better rookie could be lost by keeping an under achieving gun? Not really good advice IMO. Now is the only time in the season its ok to do any of that sort of stuff.

Round 3 trades:shaw for birchall or carrots??
Vent/Brag/Whatever:73 overall this week not bad for 2 year player

  • How do you reverse trade on Ipod / iphone. Im in the USA now and traded Enight for Birchall and what to reverse and dont know how

    • Are you sure you want to go back to Enright?

    • From memory you can’t do it through the App – just log in to the website via safari, hit the undo button then back to the app. Slightly annoying but not overly difficult.

  • Team Name: The SelwoodEffect

    Round 2 Score: 2120

DT Studs: Gary Ablett! Goddard, Deledio, Boyd, Magner, J Selwood (Half time injury and still scored a ton!)

    DT Duds: No one really

On the Chopping Block: No one

Round 3 trades: Not making any

    Vent/Brag/Whatever: Geelong won! Enough said

  • Team Name: Innocent Criminals
    Round 2 Score: 2,190
    Rank: 1,631
DT Studs: Goddard, Delids, Gaz Jr, Magnus Magnusson, Chappy, Nick Voldt
    DT Duds: Broughton
On the Chopping Block: possibly Broughton, but need to have a bit more of a think about it. The other day someone made a good point that if Broughton is a D7 then may as well keep him and work around him.
Round 3 trades: Broughton to Dempsey will be popular this week, but I like to run my own race. Will probably tweak the rookies with one – maybe two – trades.
    Vent/Brag/Whatever: Geelong Cats 92. Hawthorn 90.

  • Team Name: Blues Booze Kreuz
    Round 2 Score: 2215

DT Duds: Martin, Shaw, Pendlebury(C), MUMFORD
    On the Chopping Block: Mumford
    Round 3 trades: N/A
    Vent/Brag/Whatever:
Mumford you should have rung me, or relationship is on ice.
Heath Shaw, when Maxy, Reid and Taz come back in and you stop being a defender and start being a DT defender, you better be ready to go.
Conilgio, i wanna see more from you, consistancy is not good in the 50’s.
Barlow, keep the vest for nest week im eyeing you down at a hard to resist price and after half time scores, but is it only because your fresh or because your the inaugrial golden stubby winner.

  • I wish S.Selwood was DPP. He is this years Lecras.

Is 3 tigers in defence too much? Had Lids 3 years running then bypassed him this year. Now look at him!

    Enright->Lids, Shaw->Farknose.

  • Team Name: Missing In Action
Round 2 Score: 2211 (ranked 4565 for the week, 6870 overall)
DT Studs: Watson, Goddard, Deledio, Ablett, Ryder, Magner, Dempsey
DT Duds: Rockliff, Shaw, Broughton, Martin, Buddy
On the Chopping Block: No-one. Well, maybe broughton but plan on keeping the trigger finger firmly in the pocket.
Round 3 trades: If anything, pfeiffer > greene and broughton > birchall.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Pretty happy with my first couple of rounds given I have put bugger all time into my team this year. Round one saw some pretty poor team selection by me, Round two was a lot better. Smedts over Hall would have netted me 10 points. Ellis scored more than half my backline but I never would have played him over my mid’s/premiums. So far my plan to leave Goodes & Swan for a mid season upgrade is looking good. Swanny may not even make it in this year considering my current mids are Ablett, Pendles, Watson, Boyd, Rocky and Magner. Really only 5-6 players tops in my current lineup that need to be upgraded, others just need to pick up their game.

Duds- Heater, Buddy, Goodes, Martin, Cogs, Dickson

Chopping block- Cogs for green and Dickson for Milera

Vent- Bloody Forwards scored 535points and none of them broke the ton. Between Goodes, Fyfe, Martin, Buddy and Dangerfield you would be hoping for 2- 4 every week

DT Studs: Ablett, Pendlebury, Waters, Redden (BL)

    DT Duds: Broughton, Martin

On the Chopping Block: Broughton. Watched the whole game and he just didn’t even look like he wanted to go near the footy, yet i still can’t decide if i want him out

Round 3 trades: Undecided but unlikely

Vent/Brag/Whatever: Cannot believe i jumped off Bartel and Josh P. Kennedy this year. Anyway, go the roos!

  • Team Name: Sheeeen’s Dream Team
    Round 2 Score: 2133
DT Studs: Goddard, Deledio, Waters, Ablett, Magner, Giles
    DT Duds: Palmer, Hale, Grimes
On the Chopping Block: Grimes, Palmer
Round 3 trades: Grimes + Palmer –> Hurn + Brad Ebert, leaving me with $0
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Strongly considering trading Hale, but having a 5th ruck option means I wont have to burn a trade on that come the byes…

  • Can someone give me an update/an understanding on what is happening with Xavier Ellis?

  • Team Name: Nick’s Neurosis
    Round 2 Score: Bad week, 1,988 :\
DT Studs: Goddard, Deledio, Boyd, GAJ, Magner, Giles
DT Duds: Palmer, Parker, Hale, Mumford, Franklin, A.Hall
On the Chopping Block: Mumford, Broughton, Parker, Palmer…
    Round 3 trades: Mumford -> Ryder, Parker -> A.Kennedy – Leaving me $264k.

Vent/Brag/Whatever: Not happy with Franklin but he shall pick up, everyone has him anyway. Very bad choice in A.Hall/S.Kerridge bench forwards…
Want to get Stanton in this week, but I simply don’t have enough money even if I drop Parker and Palmer… Maybe next week depending upon how Palmer goes.
Might grab Greene depending upon my thoughts through the week, both him and Kennedy are great cash cows.
Keeping Hale in hopes he picks up a bit then can save me a donut come rounds 11-13…

  • Team Name: Passies Papadums
    Round 2 Score: 2239
DT Studs: Gaz, Delids, Goddard, Lake, Hargrave, Magner, pretty much everyone did there part!
DT Duds: Bugg, Coniglio (weren’t shocking scores but scored poorly compared to the rest of the team)
On the Chopping Block: T Dickson, maybe Hall.
Round 3 trades: I’m thinking T Dickson to Kennedy or Milera, who has better job security? I have a feeling Sheeds may shuffle a few youngsters around now.
Vent/Brag/Whatever: Good week, wish I had Gaz captain, Pendles did well but Gaz was simply amazing!
