Sesh tweeted this to us today… a little project he has been working on that is making his Dream Team planning easier. This little ‘app’ that you can add to your browser when looking at your team will make your life easier when checking your team out with the byes.

Just a quick introduction to a little “afternoon project” of mine – a bookmarklet to provide a little extra information to players of AFL Dream Team and SuperCoach. Footynerd is a little failed project of mine, but it will live on (for this season at least) in this form…
This initial version doesn’t really do a lot (I mean, it’s still pre-season) but what it does do is change your team screen…
Byes are going to play a vital role in team selection this year, and this should help make sure you’ve got a nice balanced team.
You’ll also notice a handy little export button on if you use the bookmarklet on your team page – great for posting your team on Dream Team Talk, Fan Footy and the like.
I’ll be adding more features soon, some will automatically be added to the bookmarklet, but check back here (or follow me on twitter) for the full details. Feel free to request features on twitter as well.

This thing has only been testing in Chrome, Firefox and Safari, but should work in all modern browsers. Due to an issue with embedding javascript in Tumblr posts, you have to head over to footynerd.com to install the bookmarklet.
