Ladies and gentleman… the pirate has arrived and he has dropped what he thinks will be the best scorers for the round ahead. Calvin has been in ripping form this season and it starts with the captains. Check out how he went in round four.
LAST WEEK’S TOP-10
🏴☠️ 1 – Rowan Marshall 123 🔥
🏴☠️ 2 – Jack Macrae 113 ✅
🏴☠️ 3 – Connor Rozee 84 ❄️
🏴☠️ 4 – Josh Dunkley 110 ✅
🏴☠️ 5 – Jordan Dawson 85 ❄️
🏴☠️ 6 – Tom De Koning 130 💥
🏴☠️ 7 – Jack Steele DNP
🏴☠️ 8 – Zach Merrett 108 🤏
🏴☠️ 9 – Jack Sinclair 134 💥
🏴☠️ 10 – Lachie Whitfield 120 🔥
A few solid ones in there and a few stinkers as well. Now.. Calvin does change his captains some times during the weekend as news comes to hand… make sure you are following him @CalvinDT to make sure you are up to date with any changes that unfold.
🏴☠️ 1 – Zorko v RICH
@ MCG, SAT 4:15pm
Running DEFs against the Tigers have scored well with Sinclair 134, Wanganeen-Milera 112 and even Burgoyne 122, Farrell 114 and Evans 108 all dloing well. Porko scored 148 (at the GABBA) against Richmond last season and averaged 117 there in his last four at the MCG against much tougher opponents.
🏴☠️ 2 – Dunkley v RICH
@ MCG, SAT 4:15pm
St Kilda had 5×110+ scores last week against the Tigers and this will continue again. Richmond conceded the most points, the most 100 and 120-plus scores and it’s hard to see how the Lions don’t feast. Dunkley had 105 last year against the Tigers with scores of 72, 129, 145 and 117 before that.
🏴☠️ 3 – Whitfield v WCE
@ ENGIE, SUN 1:10pm
Whitfield returns home where he averaged 112 last year and meets the second-easiest team to score against. He is coming off 120 and 111… and had 102 (Optus) against the Eagles last year. The match-up suits him perfectly and I’m expecting a big one on Sunday.
🏴☠️ 4 – Anderson v ADEL
@ PFS, SAT 1:20pm
He has been on fire away from home and let’s hope he bought his pillow back from his away games and this week he returns home where he averaged 121 last year. Coming off scores of 117 and 117, Anderson scored 126 on the Crows last year and will be great for the third week running.
🏴☠️ 5 – Gawn v GEEL
@ GMHBA, FRI 7:40pm
Fort 77, Marshall 142 and Jackson 93 have all score well against Geelong so far this year and ‘bang for buck’… they are one of the easiest. The key here is NO STANLEY who Gawn has scored 92 and 84 against in his last two. Gawn only scored a predictable 84 (Witts) and 63 (Xerri) recently and but if you are looking for a VC with a ceiling… then here it is.
CROSSING THEM OFF ❌
It’s a big call crossing off some of these names (we have better options) but here is some of the reasons to look elsewhere this week.
❌ Tristan Xerri – Hammy issues and only scored 94 last year against the Swans. Rucks have been scoring well against them though.
❌ Connor Rozee – A tag last week and a tag from Windhager could be on the cards again. Hasn’t hit 100 against the Saints ever (7 gms).
❌ Nick Daicos – Scored 122 last year in this game, his only good score against them in six games. Hewett also expected to be with him.
❌ Harry Sheezel – Sydney are a red team on the scale and although James Jordon should go to LDU… he also might not.
❌ Jack Macrae – Been good, but Port in Adelaide are one of the hardest match-ups going around.

any other options outside these peanuts
Bailey Smith
As good as any, i don’t have any of Cal’s C’s but do have all his X’s plus some others, mmm Bailey it is, FMDT and it’s only Rd4.
TDK was my VC and now locked in a Captain
I brought in Nick Daicos this week and tonight my overall ranking went up to # 1.
My VC option is Gawn with Dorko captain if needed.
I would have preferred to VC Dorko and Captain either Macrea or Sinclair. Port in Adelaide is a tough matchup for the Saints.. Soooo, what to do, what to do what to do? FMDT.
Sorry to hear that
Holmes vs Demons worth a punt?
yeah i reckon. that bloke loves nothing more than sprint for a mark or a handball receive
Darcey Cameron would have been a great Captain. He has moved to a new level this year. The Pies are looking brilliant
