Sydney averaged 370.0 Disposals in the 2019 H&A season (Rank 9), that was slightly down compared to the average of 373.2 in the 2018 H&A season (Rank 12).
It has been necessary for the Swans to regenerate their list which attributed to a decrease in wins last season, if the output is much the same in 2020 then opportunities will once again be available for the younger brigade.
Sydney hasn’t dramatically changed their game plan under coach John Longmire, they will once again likely defend & set-up moves forward from inside their own defensive 50 in 2020.

2020 Potential Targets:
Jake Lloyd DEF $795K
Paying up for Lloyd at Round 1 will be a key decision for most, the defensive premium group will likely be thin to choose from and for many upgrading to Lloyd after the season starts will be an option.
Lloyd averaged 106.9pts from 22 games last season, he averaged 114.3pts between Rounds 1-12 & 98.1pts between Rounds 14-23.
Lloyd scored 100pts or more in 63.6% of games & 120pts or more in 36.4% of games, he will be a tough upgrade early in the season if he increases on his average from 2019.
Lance Franklin FWD $523K
Key forwards can be highly volatile to carry for an entire season of AFL Fantasy, but the starting price for Franklin at Round 1 should at least be a consideration.
Injury concerns have been a huge factor for Franklin in the last 2 years, he has played in only 64.4% of games since the beginning of the 2018 H&A season.
As it stands Franklin is fully fit through the first part of pre-season, if he completes an uninterrupted pre-season his ability to generate cash against favourable match-ups in the opening 4 games could be slightly unique to the rest of the field.

Oliver Florent MID $514K
The numbers started to rise for Florent once his midfield usage increased in 2019, he averaged 69.3pts from 21 games last season with a high score of 113pts in Round 21 against Port Adelaide.
Florent has played in 97.8% of games since the beginning of the 2018 H&A season, he has averaged 94.5pts when recording 25 Disposals or more over the same period.
If the role in the midfield is high throughout the pre-season for Florent then he is worth considering, he will likely exceed value quite easily if he is part of the midfield rotation.
