This might be a one off special, but one of DT Talk’s favourites Tbetta has tweeted very hard today. While they will forever be on Twitter (unless he deletes them), they need to be seen by more people here. Enjoy a day of Tbetta tweeting.
Over the last 4 years, Beams has avg'd 4.4 marks and 4.3 tackles per game. At just 1.5 and 2 this year, respectively. Instant drop of 18 DT!
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
And that's before we even look at Beams' possession rate & that he's yet to hit the scoreboard. Tougher without Pendles/Rocky shielding him.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
NicNat really excelling as Cox's heir this year, as expected. Hitout rate up to 35 a game (previous best 25.4), and getting much more burn.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Yes, NicNat is yet to take a mark this year. But that won't continue, while his tapwork certainly can! Should push 90DT every game he's fit.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Taylor Hunt looks the real deal in #AFLFantasy. Numbers are obviously up, but best stat – Contested possession rate down from 55% to 22%!
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Collingwood love Adam Oxley. Still played him after suffering cramps the week before? Tick. Game-high 12 Rebound 50's (next best 5)? Tick.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Seriously, if you need to fix a Beams/GAJ type to fund an upgrade elsewhere, Wallis has to be considered. Will eat in tht midfield all year!
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Wallis particularly attractive in DT/SC as prices haven't budged yet. Priced at $328k/$341k with BE of 2/-8. Best option not named Bont IMO.

Quick trivia – who's the only player to feature in the top 11 players for both contested and uncontested possessions?
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Answer: Robbie Gray. Such a safe fantasy pick – can get it done inside & outside, midfield or forward. Showing some very Ablett-like signs..
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Happy to be without a Dane Swan headache this year. Only player with 20+ touches with a disposal efficiency of 55% or less.
FYI: 28 at 50%.— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Just running through some numbers & realised Gaff is avg'ing 5 tackles this year! Previous yearly avgs: 2.4, 1.8, 1.4, 1.1. Going Hulk mode!
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Always said Gaff will be a DT gun if he could just learn to tackle. Last 5 games: 7, 4, 5, 4 and 6 tackles. Should push him 95+ this year.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Ablett/Hallahan/Harbrow/Sexton issues probably save Touk Miller this week. Averaging 8.5 touches at 47% efficiency isn't pretty reading.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Ellis-Yolmen picked a good week to step up, despite kicking concerns. Scott Thompson dominated in SANFL and is a very similar type. Monitor.

Let's all just take a moment to congratulate Nat Fyfe on his gym work. Looks like a completely different human: https://t.co/JVmKGgKegf
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Hard not to notice similarities between Bonts & Fyfe. Both huge 190cm+ mids, started FWD & bucking 2nd-year blues. Fyfe avg'd 98 in year 2.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Wouldn't be surprised if that's the last we see of Brett Goodes for a while. Young Pups driving the Bulldog bus, non-factor as sub in Rnd 2.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Keep an eye out for Chris Knights in Thurs teams, DT/SC coaches. In the lower $200k region and has a fantasy game, will fill voids for Rich.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
I've banged on about the Triple Trouble (25d, 5m, 5t) for years now but every season it happens. It's like a DT hindsight Breakout formula.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
The mark & tackle categories are so sneaky – you can often watch a game & not notice them, yet they have huge affect on #AFLFantasy success.
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Bonts: 24.5 disp / 3.5 marks /10 tackles.
Ellis: 26/6/6
Wines: 28/4.5/6
Shiel: 27/6/5.5
Gaff: 25.5/5/3
Melksham: 23/5.5/6.5
Hunt: 25/7/3.5.— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Barlow's numbers make for very interesting reading. Seems to be playing a more bruise-free brand than we've seen before. CP rate has halved!
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
More outside role looks good on Barlow: DE% up to career-high 77% (from 67), notched Mark totals of 9 & 13, leads AFL in uncontested poss!
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Interesting to note that 80% of Parker's 98.5 avg has come purely from disposals. Buy-low window is now – he clocked 4.2m and 6t last year!
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Quiz: Who is the only player to have notched a 5×7 game this year – 5 traditional statistical categories with 7 or greater in the column?
— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
Yep, it was Todd Goldstein going beast mode! Not 100% sure this has ever been done before.
10 kicks
13 h/balls
7 marks
37 hitouts
8 tackles— Tbetta (@Tbetta9) April 15, 2015
We will update this if he continues to tweet out gold.
