Fremantle will also debut Chris Scerri (Mid/Fwd $230k).

Matt Rowell is expected to miss additional time while seeing a specialist. According to reports Colby McKercher is set to have his game time increased gradually, which is a red flag for owners, expect low TOG%.

Wednesday – Early news

This is the first early bye round, with the Lions, Magpies, Blues and Cats all having a rest – dont forget that its top 18 players counting this week. The big news this week is that Errol Gulden will miss up to 4 months with a shoulder injury and is a must trade. Fellow Swan Isaac Heeney, along with Hugh McCluggage, James Worpel, Mattaes Phillipou and Adam Treloar are all tests for their respective clubs.

Izak Rankine has been cleared to play, which could impact the role of Josh Rachele at the Crows. George Wardlaw has also been cleared to return, which could affect the role of Toby Blamires.

Jack Macrae has been ruled out for at least 2 weeks, which could open up better opportunities for some of the Saints younger players.

Weather notes updated at Wed 18 Mar, 3:00pm AEDT. Please check weather closer to game day.
