Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, the fantasy gods said watch this. For those that haven’t deleted their team yet, or even those who have, this article is dedicated to you. It’s time for the weekend wash-up…

LEGENDS

Soligo (115) – I’ve always loved him as a 90 guy, but I didn’t see this coming. Unreal. Genuine gun, hope he found that medal…

Crouch (103) – Good hold, in a round like this we take everything we can.

Daicos (122) – So, Nick Daicos is pretty good at footy… Amazingly, there’s another 10 value options that I’m considering as well this week. Am I being a moron for not just going Nick? Probably, what a goal. Legend!!

Peatling (115) –  Who? Holy shit. How did I miss this?! 17 CBAs and a completely dominant performance and that makes it back to back. Green and Cogs are a massive flag but he was too good to be back in the vest. Getting a little expensive now…

Grundy (134) – **** this bloke. Now he tries? I’ve never seen him tackle in his life, and now all of a sudden he has had 11 twice in 3 weeks?! Get a haircut mate. Lucky weather conditions.

Sinclair (156) – Oh look at that. They moved Jack Sinclair into their non-existent midfield and it worked?! What a shocker. Has to be a serious option next week, I love this play.

Marshall (117) – I would happily ban him from this article, never to be mentioned again. As I said last week, it wasn’t brave. He was a massive coward.

Xerri (127) – Talk about a tackling machine. He’s a beast! Averaging 107…

NWM (104) – With Sinclair moved into the midfield, that 71 point first half had me planning my trades out for next week. He had a typical weird Wanga 2^nd half, but you can confidently back him in. I think he’s a 100 dude.

Hill (103) – This seriously needs to be considered. A 5 round average of 103 as a forward! Not to mention his only bad game was against Port. Hawks next week? Huge watch…

Windhager (112) – I think this Windy score sums up this week perfectly.

McKercher (99) – He was nearly full Sheezel… Imagine having Colby in your backline, a gun kick and genuinely elite player. And you let Zac Fisher take the majority of kick ins. That bloke needs to be binned into the VFL ASAP. Wake up North.

Wilson (100) – Legitimate gun! I knew Darcy Wilson had an elite tank, I didn’t realise he was a contested mark beast! Is he a bloody keeper? Insane. LEGEND.

Holmes (120) – STAND UP! This had been coming for weeks, he’s so good. I love me some Homma. $750k per year is a bargain.

Oliver (106) – I said one ton and I’d jump, I just didn’t realise how many value options there would be… You can sideways trade Riley Bonner. That’s all I’m saying.

Parish (147) – My boy…. He had the perfect inside role during this game and ticked every single box. Weirdly Merrett was playing mostly outside of the stoppages, Parish was exactly what I thought Zach would be. I need Darcy against North.

Martin (119) – How did the Eagles let this guy go…. What an elite player. L.E.G.E.N.D.

Merrett (110) – I’ll take it… But this was a weird role. How many contested possessions do you think Zach would have in 29 disposals? I doubt you would have guessed FOUR. The CBAs were there, but he was hanging on the outside of every stoppage. Very weird stuff, but the 3 goals goes to show he’s just a gun. I would rather Parish though…

Ryan (161) – Almost a Brian Lake! He’s now averaging 104, it’s just a shame about his hair. Luke Ryan has this game once a year, one year I’ll pick him.

Serong (141) – How was Caleb Serong never on my radar last week. And why? He has a perfect bye! Bizarre stuff. Gun.

Brayshaw (125) – It was another slow start but thankfully Andy fired up… There was so much junk in this game it was no surprise.

Young (125) – He had 60% TOG in the first half, something didn’t seem right… Then came that second half. Holy sh*t. Once he builds that tank…

English (126) – He’s back. Can he contest for the number 1 ruck again? It certainly looks like it

Dale (105) – Good lord he was tracking for another 150. There’s that many value players I don’t have right now and I’m not sure how it happened.

Moore (116) – What a HUGE last quarter. He just gets it done, and we all need him in. He doesn’t need the midfield role, all aboard!

Zorko (182) – Holy shit… Total game changer. Tom Green levels of week defining. Zorko is a genuine must have, that was disgusting stuff. Welcome.

Dunkley (151) – Pick your games hey. Brisbane are now a Fantasy gold mine? This has me readjusting my thinking…

Neale (137) – Still not interested, but welcome back briefly Lachie.

Berry (131) – I kind of brushed it off last week, what the hell is going on here?! Continued huge scoring, that takes Berry to a 5 round average of 106. Unreal.

McCluggage (122) – Almost unders in this game. Just ticking along.

LOSERS

Curtin (35) – Yikes….. But not the worst to do it this week by any means.

JHF (56) – Flashes brilliance and a potential future Brownlow medallist… But this ain’t it. Maybe he wants Ken gone.

Rozee (51) – Well sh*t…. What the hell are Port Adelaide doing. A 6 day hamstring? Stevie f**king Wonder saw that coming. Embarrassing.

Cripps (69) – For every 120….. Captains dud on the big stage.

Williams (54) – I think we are well and truly done with this bloke… Never again. EVER. Last mention ever on the wash-up.

Kennedy (15) – We were right to avoid this one BUT…… Hello Carlton? Yes he might not have broken into the midfield, but surely he can get a gig up forward. Bizarre stuff.

Green (7) – 13% time on ground, so you’re telling me he was on target for 40!!! What’s all the fuss about? In all seriousness… **** this game. That’s not right.

Roberts (49) – The wet conditions didn’t suit him, low TOG%. I know most people won’t get a chance to move him on this week, but I reckon he’ll bounce back for you.

Thomas (31) – Harvey Harvey Harvey…… Embarrassing. That could be the end of the road.

Shitfield (48) – Alright. Onto my true shitter of the week. Fair weather ****head. I knew it was going to be a stinker as soon as I saw the forecast… However that doesn’t excuse this performance. Oh, he got some attention? Finally? A man stood next to him? Have mercy. The thing that pissed me off the most though… He had 6 kick ins. SIX. That equates to 30 real points. He’s an embarrassment to football. The world’s biggest seagull, hopefully it’s sunny next week. Shameful.

Sheezel (89) – Into the midfield hey Sheez? As Cam Brady would say, welcome to the f**king show.

Powell (71) – Just a very average player, and now Sheezel is eating into his CBAs. He looks like he’ll be a 50% CBA guy from here on, and that might be a walking 70 at best. Christ almighty. He needs to go, but how? What a game we play.

Garcia (47) – It will be a nervous wait next Thursday… Hopefully we have a new loop option.

Hardeman (29) – He was just one stinker amongst the other sh*t kanga rooks, I say avoid them entirely.

Phillipou (9) – The Poo……. His name says it all. Pack em up big fella.

Pinky (11) – Full forward Pink! The stink. Grim stuff, you would much rather a loop option.

Gawn (93) – Disappointing… But only if you captained him. Thank god he had a legacy last quarter, this round was bad enough as it was. When it rains…

Petracca (77) – Completely irrelevant name now I reckon. What’s his name, Chris or something? This fall off needs to be studied. Too many cooking tik toks perhaps.

Guthrie (47) – So about that Cam Guthrie play…..

Caldwell (61) – He was on track for a very solid score with some great fixtures ahead, this sucks. What’s that? Calf tightness? HE’S FINE?! Where are they breeding these guys. Embarrassing.

Yeo (62) – Talk about a Stevie Wonder. This is as gutting as it was inevitable. The real problem here is THIS WEEK OF ALL WEEKS?! It got genuinely laughable at times. Who do you even trade, what a joke.

Fyfe (28) – I could make a solid case that this weekend was scripted. You don’t face this much sh*t in one single week. Here is my issue here. Why play him…..? You have a 5 day break before you play on Friday night back in Perth, and you fly a Brownlow medallist over to run some laps after the game?!?! I need someone’s head for that decision. Get in the bin.

Baker (74) – The tigers are just grim. His role was there with 19 CBAs, and I honestly think the ability is there too. He just plays for the Tiges.

Miller (77) – This was a huge misread from me, Touk is NOT back. In fact he might be finished.

Day (58) – He’s not even close to the level yet, but on a positive note Will will be VERY cheap. We’re not short on those players that’s for sure.

Macrae (66) – This guy is so past it, we’re not in 2018 lads wake up! He’s not an option and frankly he never was. The head tilt has gone beyond 90 degrees, in fact it has nearly fallen off. Maybe Bevo gets the ass this week? Here to hoping.

Watson (22) – THE WIZARD!!! After a horrible weekend, it was just good to have the wiz back… Making certain goals disappear. King.

THIS GAME SH*TS ME

Strange, apparently there was some carnage this week? I supposedly dodged some bullets? Weird, I didn’t realise. Obviously I’m majorly kissed, but there is still one thing that really grinds my gears… Especially in a week like this one. People tweeting out good scores and trades, as if ANYBODY cares? Or asked. Especially when it’s after the fact. Would you have posted their score if it was sh*t? Are they trying to convince people they’re great fantasy coaches? We get it, it’s in your bio. Unbelievable scenes. It’s times like these where it should be ranting only, because it’s the people that are really struggling who need to get around each other and have a laugh. Because this game sucks. It SUCKS. This game sh*ts me.

THE OTHER BITS AND PIECES

2139 – Rank 2805. KISSED. Oh my god kissed. This article could have been an all timer if I had gone through with my early trades from last week that involved Tom Green… That shows the margins of this game and the luck involved. Amazingly though I’m actually setup for another top 100 run now, so here we bloody go hey! From 10k to 2k in two weeks, anything is possible kids.

My trades for next week? I actually have too many options! Dempsey and Roberts almost certainly go, and I think Zorko simply has to come in. I can get Dempsey to Zorko while everyone has to sideways trade? Oh yeah, we’re on. I’m looking forward to the Zorko hammy next week.
