I know he scored well but I don’t like A. Brayshaw’s wing role and am concerned about his scores going forward – what does everyone think?

He did spend quality time in the midfield I seen. He got 6 clearances mainly when injuries started to hit and young moved down back a little bit. Fyfe also was rested quite a bit and moved forward on occasions. Even now Serong gets attention moving forward I think brayshaw role in midfield still there.

Surely, you have other fires to burn than to worry about a guy scoring 118. Having said that Grundy did score 118 in round 0 and I’m looking to downgrade him for Xerri and upgrading Wines, lol.

If Grundy can’t return to his best against goldy this week then you can start to think about it.

Charles

I’ve now seen he actually have 70% CBAs, which is a lot more than what I thought he had. I also have Wines and I agree, had 46% CBAs and if that’s anything to go by then unfortunately I think he needs to be traded

Yeah, had him in most PS. Jumped off him late after considering this sort of thing. Value in him for sure.

He’s not a bad pick even if he does spend less time inside. You know he’s going to work hard and try to round out the stat sheet regardless.

JORDAN DAWSON (Zac’s brother)
Whilst his 89 isn’t deplorable (not far from it) – I didn’t pay up the big bucks for that. Game didn’t get televised up here in Darwin so I’m looking for info from someone who watched the game. Was his midfield time/role effected by say Crouch/Rankine or did he run with someone or someone run with him or did he just have a quiet 1st 3/4 (57).
Cheers,
Andrew

Problems;

Grundy – too early to trade to Xerri ?
Fisher – too early to trade to Billings ?
Wines – if you. have Crouch already who does he go to ?
Coffield – on the bench, with Howes on the field ?

Xerri was instalock IMO. Not sure I’d jump off Grundy for him.
Don’t chase Billings.
Fisher should be ok?
Wines the same? Inside mid Vs WC…not a lot of contest for him to feed off I reckon.
Coff: Yeah, I’m not stoked with him. Might chop him if I can get to the guy I want.

Made a play to take rd 0 rookies, with the game plan being all things even could sneak a cheeky 100k or so. Windsor was in over Sharp because of budget. Would have bee nnice if he’d avoided the sub, was scoring well.

Waiting for lockout to finish, to see if I can make the Windsor to Sharp upgrade I had planned, along with an adjustment.

If you don’t have crouch, is the obvious move to dump wines and go up to crouch? Or should a downgrade to bonner be the first priority

coulda been worse, ended with 2079 without too many holes..

+3 goes to Sheez, Whitfield ($$) Green (C), Rowell, McKercher, Gawn& Heeney with a special ention to Dempsey who was on the bench, but still..
-3 goes to Coffield, Bont, Wines, Grundy, Fisher and BEVO..

was looking at Grundy to Xerri, but holding off for a week on that one as Grundy at home against a 48 year old Goldy should hold his own (90+) which is good enough for me..

trades are a bit royactionary, but looking at Wines to Billings and then Fisher to Perkins, figure these duos should score about the same, so i’m really just playing the BE game..

RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Barnett)

  • Fisher is a dud and moved to Heeney

Yeo down to D’Ambrosio
Wines down to Bonner
Grundy to xerri
Fisher to billings

Thoughts on which 2 of these would be best?

Zultan

Reply to  Luke

I’d hold Grundy for this round, still a realtively low BE and playing an old Goldstein, so an opportunity to make some ground back on this weeks score.

D’Ambrosio did the same thing last year, had a blue moon game and fell off, I’d wait to see what the next 2 games do and if he can hold form.

Fisher looked awful so that would be my move.

Trading Wines to Bonner and looking at moving Fisher on this week as he looked terrible on the weekend.

Thinking of one of the following..

Fisher to Perkins with $188k in the bank
Fisher to Billings with $304k left in the bank
Fisher to Flanders with $7k in the bank

Currently ranked 12,128.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Same position I’m leaning towards wines to bonner and budarick out. Other options to consider

1 wines to bonner. Dud-arick to Clark

2 dud-arick dick to massimo. And a 308k rookie (sanders, Mckercher, Robert’s, and Reid( if Reid then Lazzaro and Wilson on field)) up to bonner

3 Grundy to Xman. Campbell to bonner

4 should I fix rookies instead
5 wines to bonner. Lazzaro to Fyfe, MacDonald

I have four on the chopping block: Wines, Fisher, Coffield & Jhye Clark. And holding Grundy.
First thoughts are Fish to Billings which gives the cash to get Coff to D’Ambo. But that means I miss the cash gen on the likes of Dempsey or Sharp.
Any feedback – this plan ok, or do I dump Clark for the cash gen?

looking for a new mid to replace Wines, have 1.01m, thoughts on a keeper??

1 – Serong, not gonna get 161 every week, but WOWEE!!!
2 – Laird, picture of consistency..
3 – Rozee, got 111 with 0 tackles, plus plays a few more home games..
4 – Butters, personal favourite player, walked to 107 on limited pre-season..

leaning towards 1 or 3 as that’s better for my bye structure and less likely for injury over Butters..

Any Idea what to do this week?

Went risky and got Budarik and Houston who looked the goods in the 1st quarter. Feel like both of them need to be moved on. Any idea who to move them to, was thinking Budarik to Massimo and Houston to Crouch through DPP, Massimo is a big risk that Im not sure I’m willing to take after this weeks failures. Please let me Know.

SamPorterBridges
SamPorterBridges

Houston is the kind of guy that can score between 65 and 130 in any week. Budarick, you can give another week, it’s best 18 only and I don’t think he’ll drop in price much unless he scores another 25. But if these are the only fires you need to burn then I say make those trades you suggested.

Clancy Banfield
Clancy Banfield

Cheers, Have Wanganeen as well but he was alright, although didn’t set the world on fire. Could move Clark to Sharp, give budarik a week and move one of Newcombe, Wanganeen and Houstoun to Crouch. Which one do you think goes first and does Budarik warrant a week, how did he score so badly?

SamPorterBridges
SamPorterBridges

I think Budarick needs 65 or something to break even, I think he can do that, don’t know why he looked bad last week, maybe the heat and Dewey conditions. Personally, I’m bringing in Sharp myself for Wines, and Upgrading Yeo to Daicos. Didn’t like the time on ground for both Wines and Yeo. Can’t go wrong with Cash gen.
