butters, with treloar coming back soon and role could change

Getting rid of non playing players will be great for the byes but also this is a good chance to grab Laird now..
Having Laird would be great, but having non-playing guys can really burn your options and cash generation during the byes. I say option 2

His BE gone too high for my liking especially with player like butters, smith and sheed all cheaper and having better L3 AVG and better runs. No Oliver has me rethinking it tho

Merrett is a good choice. As for the other trade consider Serong whom I traded in last round. He is cheaper than Walsh and Bontempelli and should average the same, if not more.
Only considering Bont because of his matchup and he has a later bye
In the same situation with Jkelly & Clayton, all week have had them to Tom Green & Zerrett but now thinking to Hold Clayton (may only be 2 weeks) & Trade Out a player like Liam Baker to Hobbs, plus Clayton won’t loose money & can rollover
For yourself a Travis Boak/ Cincotta/ Rachele Type > Hobbs

Steele vs Butters vs Bazlenka?
Butters has gone bang the last few weeks and his CBA’s are up, but the concern is prior to that he only had one score in the 100’s. I tend to avoid Bulldog’s mids because of Bevo changing the magnets around and not forgetting Treloar will be back round 12. Steele has had some quiet games this year.
On all that maybe Steele slightly over Butters
Who’s some PODs for Clarry. Considering Zerrett but given where I am in the ranks (terrible) I want to roll the dice a bit
Looking a little cheaper, maybe sub $900k. Libba, Short and Steele come to mind.
Merrett’s is a solid pick, but expect his ownership to climb this week. Libba’s average is 14 points higher than the last two years and I doubt Bevo will move him as he is a pure midfielder. For Steele read above. Short isn’t a consistent scorer in the 100″s.
Have a look at Serong, he has low ownership and has been really good this season.
All my rucks (Marshall, Darcy and McAndrew) have the same bye. Would it be worth bringing in Darcy Cameron (or other) as cover or have no ruck scores and hope the rest on field can cover?
If you have 18 scorers across the field it shouldn’t be an issue. Might mean some rookies play.
Really struggling to choose between
A) Steele and Fahey (if named)
or
B) Butters/Smith (which would be my 10th round 15 bye) and McAndrew

Depends on what you have to spend. He’s known for low scores at times. If you can afford it, I think there are many better options than him.
Thoughts on Petracca with Oliver out CBA’s should rise and will be number 1 guy
Already have butters, merrett and laird
His CBA’s were high in the previous 2 seasons. The problem with selecting him is his inconsistency with scoring in the 100’s, 2022 59% and 2021 64%. At his price you would be wanting more consistency. Walsh has proven he can be consistent, or take a punt on Bontempelli. Other than them, Serong has been strong but you would only have him for one game before his bye.
