- $100,000 Super Saturday special – 3 games
Dees v Dockers, Saints v Lions, Power v Cats
Max Gawn RUC, $10,500
The big Dee is my prediction for the highest player on the slate so we certainly need a bit of that action. He is in awesome form with a three game averages of 135 which included an impressive 148 against Brodie Grundy. He is coming up against a lesser opponent this week in Sean Darcy and the game is at the MCG where Max makes a habit of going big. Darcy hardly got through the match last week, this could get nasty.
Patrick Dangerfield MID, $9,400
Although he didn’t get on the plane with the team, Danger will lay and should go big. He was in impressive form leading into the bye with an impressive 162. He has shown an ability to score well against Port in the past with 125 the highlight but it’s the form at AO which catches my eye with an average of 127 in his last five there.
Lachie Neale MID, $9,300
Ownership will be quite low for Neale given his inconsistent scoring of late but he may prove to be a nice unique given his form against the Saints. Today he will attempt to score his fifth straight 100 in this matchup with two of the previous four being 110+. The Saints have been giving up plenty of points to opposition mids so he should be in for a good one.
Tim Kelly MID, $9,300
With an average of 118 in his last three this year he has to be in play based on form. He has gone over 120 on four occasions in that time and has shown an ability to go big with a high of 141. The Power made big moves this week and the Cats will likely take advantage of their unsettled side.
Rowan Marshall RUC, $7,900
Is a prime option as the FLEX to partner with Max Gawn as he has been in fantastic form. In the last three weeks he has a low score of 96 and is carrying a high of 126 in that time. The matchup isn’t as daunting as it once was against the Lions and another triple figure score is certainly on the cards.
