Welcome back for Team Sheets here in round six, where will will run through the most relevant fantasy INs and OUTs. With no Thursday night footy and the last game of this round being played on Sunday, we have a standard week again! This week we have a few relevant cash cows coming in at a great time to move on some of those that may have reached their break evens or are missing with injuries.
Kicking off with the big INs of the round, we start with James Worpel (Mid $182,000), affectionately known as ‘worpedo’ who comes in for the Hawks. Worpel has earned his debut on the back of some solid VFL form and is a contested ball winner. Unfortunately for Stefan Martin owners, Oscar McInerney (Ruck $170,000) is also set to debut this week. The 204cm listed Lions big man looks set to spend a majority of time up forward, with stints chopping out for Stef in the ruck. Our third debutant for this week is actually the Giants first graduate from their Academy to join senior ranks, Nicholas Shipley (Mid $170,000). Shipley provides another option for a downgrade, with many coaches now looking to move on some almost maxed out cash cows. Charlie Spargo (Fwd/Mid $214,000) and Jack Petruccelle (Fwd/Mid $196,000) also make their debuts for the Demons and Eagles respectively.
NEAFL specialist Michael Barlow (Mid/Fwd $667,000) comes in for his first game of the season following some impressive outings in the twos. The Crows welcome back midfield dynamo Matt Crouch (Mid $721,000) who returns from his layoff with injury. Crouch has been solely missed in the Crows engine room already missing brother Brad and Rory Sloane. Zac Langdon (Fwd $220,000) returns to the senior lineup this week after missing the past three games with a hand injury. Dom Barry (Mid $275,000) returns this week for the Power following his round four omission.
Leading the key OUTs for our round six team sheets is resident bad boy James Sicily (Def/Fwd $554,000) who misses this week through suspension following a sicily-esque stomp on Shaun Atley in the Hawks loss to the Roos. Joining Sicily on the sidelines is popular forward selection, Christian Petracca (Fwd/Mid $550,000). Petracca features in nearly a quarter of teams at this point in the season and will miss this week. The Swans will require a fair restructure this week with the enigmatic Lance Franklin (Fwd $698,000) and Dan Hannebery (Mid $571,000) both set to miss.
Thankfully for coaches this week, we haven’t lost too many fantasy relevant players to injury or suspension, whilst managing to gain a nice crop of new cash cows to consider! Coaches here in Perth should come down to the live show tonight, doors opening at 7pm and the show starting at 8pm AWST. As always, good luck to everyone this week, feel free to send through any questions you may on twitter @JelmsDT or start up discussion in the forum below!

Any risk of Stef being a late out with MCInerney coming in?
Jelms
April 26, 2018 at 6:54 pm
Nah no real risk, Oscar in to play as a tall forward.
Ben
April 27, 2018 at 12:11 am
No risk of him being out but could hurt his scoring
Alex
April 26, 2018 at 6:40 pm
Who goes first?
O’Shea BE 28
Or
Gowers BE 34
Belly
April 26, 2018 at 6:50 pm
Nothing really in it, I would base it on who you are bringing in and where they fit position wise and if the trade involves dpp action how does your team look at the end of it bench cover wise.
Alex
April 26, 2018 at 6:54 pm
Whoever goes, Mcinerney in via DPP, English on field
If I trade Gowers, I’d be fielding Sam Murray and Coffield
If I trade O’Shea, I’d be fielding Coffield and Banfield
Daniel
April 27, 2018 at 9:59 am
Then Gowers has to go, seeing as your fielding Murray and Coffield.
Jelms
April 26, 2018 at 6:55 pm
I’d be moving on O’Shea first, but both are nearing the end of their roles as cash cows.
Ben
April 26, 2018 at 8:34 pm
Think can got injured so would trade him first
Matt
April 26, 2018 at 6:55 pm
Holman for Zerret or trade Petracca?
Jelms
April 26, 2018 at 6:57 pm
Really comes down to how confident you are in your bench covering Petracca or who you could bring in for him! That said, it looks like the time is right to jump on Zach.
Ben
April 27, 2018 at 12:09 am
Wouldn’t trade holmen yet bit of coin still to be made an it only sounds like a week for petracca so would hold both an try another way to get merrit
ChaSeq
April 27, 2018 at 1:00 am
Holding until maturity wastes cash. Holman will make less per week now than fresh cows. Having said that he’ll make more than anyone not playing or losing value, so, unless you think Petracca will be a keeper, it’s time for Petracca to go.

Who do I trade out first, Naughton, Finlayson or L Murphy?
Ben
April 27, 2018 at 12:04 am
Naughton is ready to cash out if Murphy not named next week would move him on as well
Peter
April 26, 2018 at 7:05 pm
Carnage again. Stretching necks and moving players around to dodge doughnuts. Hope no late out’s for my team. Positive is mclnerney being named. Hopefully makes a few bucks. I guess most ppl have him on ruck bench seeing as thou he was a emergency from round 1…… Who to field out of poholke or Rayner. Yep I’m stretching to field 22 and this is what I’m left with lol.
Zach

Curnow, Macrae or Danger?
Paul
April 26, 2018 at 7:29 pm
Flip a coin
AndyV
April 26, 2018 at 9:00 pm
You’d have to back Danger to average more over the season, Macrae is looking good too though.
Simon
April 27, 2018 at 9:10 am
I’ve had Macrae every year on account of him being a FWD and most years he shat me at one point or another. Don’t think you can justify bringing him in as a straight MID… or at least I can’t.
Ben
April 26, 2018 at 11:59 pm
Think cornow is the real deal contested ball winner tackles an runs hard to space McCrae is good form think teams might start putting some time into him. Danger playing forward good hurt his scoring a little I’d probably pick McCrae but cornow would be a great pick at his price.

Who should i trade and who should i keep on my bench this week?: Franklin vs Petracca
JungleMuffin
April 26, 2018 at 7:42 pm
Talk of Buddy out for a month.
AndyV
April 26, 2018 at 9:04 pm
You sure its a month, I read somewhere 1 week. Don’t have him in fantasy but would mean I have a decision to make in SC
JungleMuffin
April 26, 2018 at 10:02 pm
Pretty sure I read a new article over the last day or so that said 3-4, just had a look but can’t find it. The other reports I’ve seen suggest 1 week possibly longer.
He hadn’t been able to train during the week sonce round 1, and apparently he did it even worse this weekend, so I doubt 1 week off is going to fix it. If I had Buddy and had to bet my house on it, I’d be trading.
Don’t take my word for gospel though, I can’t find the article so I’m not 100% sure.
AndyV
April 26, 2018 at 10:24 pm
ok thanks, could be anything from 1 week to 4 then. May just hold on to him

April 26, 2018 at 7:42 pm
Franklin’s injury probably means he could be out longer than Petracca.

Upgrade Holman or Kelly?
gf
April 26, 2018 at 7:41 pm
Lots of potential fresh meat this weekend.
How many of them actually play, and if they have real JS is the question.
Worpel may be the pick of them. Also interesting to see how Barlow goes.
JungleMuffin
April 26, 2018 at 8:56 pm
Problem is they’re mostly mids, bit I’m upgrading my mid player and downgrading my forward :(
Josh
April 26, 2018 at 7:41 pm
Is this a silly move? Nank to McInerney fielding English in the ruck. Next week I’ll be able to downgrade a rook and upgrade another forward rookie to Grundy switching him with English. I have concerns for Nank; has yet to ton up, no easy matchups in the near future, Soldo potentially coming in and the short break for him.

Worse comes to worse I play English at R2 again which isn’t that big of a deal for me.
JungleMuffin
April 26, 2018 at 10:06 pm
Excellent call.
Belly
April 26, 2018 at 8:47 pm
I like it, Nank isn’t a keeper and like you say worst case play English again.
A smart pupper
April 26, 2018 at 10:06 pm
I’ve got the same situation and am doing the same. Gives me enough cash to bring in Gray and Merrett next week. I’ll keep English R2 until he has a bad day. Having said that I don’t think Nank has been shocking: decent start to the year and has allowed me to assess the other ruck options rather than setting/forgetting from R1. He was always going to spud up against the best ruckmen.

Ben
April 27, 2018 at 12:20 am
Worpel an spargo

Not great job security though
Ben
April 27, 2018 at 12:28 am
Barry in this week so hold him. worpel an shipley good go allright but not good job security would probly wait a week c how they go spargo is another to watch this weekend if he get a run

Ben
April 26, 2018 at 11:47 pm
Contested ball winner an tackle’s I’d back him in
David C
April 27, 2018 at 7:23 am
He’s never done it before, don’t think he can keep it up.
Dylan
April 27, 2018 at 8:11 am
Has he now taken Gibbs old role as a ball winner though? He isn’t tagging anymore. Getting 25-30 touches a week and 5-12 tackles which is resulting in 100+ scores

April 26, 2018 at 10:29 pm
Which premo forward to get in for Greene? Can afford any and already own Heeney, Billings and Taranto.
Gray seemed an obvious choice but a looming Jacobs tag has me cautious.
Thoughts?
St guns
April 26, 2018 at 10:37 pm
Id be getting Gray.
Consider Walter’s McLean Menegola
Another Arctic Flying wombat Panda of Doom named Drowning fish
April 26, 2018 at 10:40 pm
Gray seems to be dominating but with Ryder out atm, id look at Westhoff. Otherwise jump on Devon Smith or Hogan

April 26, 2018 at 10:54 pm
Sideways Petracca to Deledio or go up to Mclean/Gray/Menegola – Lids saves me about 100k
Ben
April 26, 2018 at 11:45 pm
Lids is high risk but if he stays on the park could push for a top 6 forward IMO in saying that I’d pass
BobTheBuilder
April 26, 2018 at 11:54 pm
Options.
1) Billings & Whitfield to Gray & Zerrett
2) Venebles & Billings/Whitfield to McInerney & Zerrett (Puts English on my field)
If option 2 do I dump Billings or Whitfield?

April 27, 2018 at 12:03 am
Gray or McLean, depends if you care about Ports bye.
Ben
April 27, 2018 at 12:18 am
Grey will be if he stays in the middle McLean (consistent) an menegola(high ceiling) will average about the same IMO
Alex
April 27, 2018 at 5:55 am
I would try get all three, I rate the top 7-8 fwds as follows:
Franklin (if fit), Heeney, Gray, McLean, Walters, Menegola, Smith – who knows if Billings will come good. He is presently on my long list to shed
Mark

Gday lads, need some help.
Dow > Shipley or Worpel
And then either
Fritch > Gray
Or
Brayshaw/Barry > seedsman
Cheers.
Ben
April 27, 2018 at 12:38 am
Not great job security for worpel an Shipley id wait a week if u can if not I’d go worpel spargo is another to keep an eye on if he gets a run. Barry named this week so hold him
Alex
April 27, 2018 at 6:01 am
I would get Higgins, though if you are set on it, get Gray, as long as your are comfortable that if he gets Jacobs he will struggle to score well this week

Zerrett or Seedsman?
Either way will be in the mids. Have I missed the boat on Seedsman? I think maybe Zerrett is too good to pass up..?

Zerrit why u can but seedsmen a great pick as well
kobe bryant
April 27, 2018 at 1:02 am
Definitely Zerret, will score more points so get him in first. Also think Seedsmans scoring will be affected by crouch coming back in and eventually sloane.

Curnow vs Fyfe vs Macrae??
Leaning towards Fyfe currently
Shags
April 27, 2018 at 1:36 am
Fyfe looks good at the moment. Curnow for pod, and same with Madras.
Maybe choose the one with the best bye round status.
Shags
April 27, 2018 at 1:11 am
Trade out Kelly (BE 53 but avg 81) or Holman (BE 44 average 67). Whoever I don’t trade is on the field.
I can use either to reach Zerrett, and can’t see any reason to trade Kelly when has averaging so high, whilst Holman has had a shocker or two, but Holman has a slightly higher potential to earn more as a cash cow with a lower value and slightly lower BE.
kobe bryant
April 27, 2018 at 1:14 am
I’d say Holman, would prefer Kelly on field and you’ll probably be trading him out soon anyway.
Shags
April 27, 2018 at 1:29 am
Stephenson, Banfield, Guelfi, Crowden.
Can play 2 on the field.
Alex
April 27, 2018 at 6:23 am
Not Crowded
Banfield and Guelfi IMO, Stepheson might find it harder v Tigs
