Teamsheets are IN! AS confirmed below Dusty is named. I wouldn’t have believed it watching his injury a couple of weeks ago but Nick Riewoldt (Fwd $659,000) is named to play. Todd Goldstein (Ruck $576,000) is also back, but still playing with Preuss. Dees midfielder Bernie Vince (Def/Mid $557,000) is also back from report, to replace Lewis, on report. There are no big surprises with the outs, and most of the new rookies we already knew about. UPDATE: It is confirmed Hugh McCluggage (Mid/Fwd $246,000) and Jarrod Berry (Def/Mid $218,000) will debut for the lions.

Third round teams to be announced from ~6:15pm tonight. No partial lockout, meaning no VC loophole, and thankfully that means no 1 hour rushing around before an early Thursday game.
Lots of talk about whether Dustin Martin (Mid $655,000) will get a game, and all indications look like he will play with Harwick giving him the all clear. New debut possible of Dustys Helmet (Mid $25.50 from kmart) which surely should score a few AF points. Freo are looking to inject some youth with debuts from Harley Balic (Fwd/Mid $150,000) and Griffin Logue (Def $236,000) pretty much all but confirmed. Balic looks a very popular pick up with great stats in the WAFL.
George Horlin-Smith (Mid $262,000) is out for at least one week, with talk of cats bringing in a debut as his replacement, with James Parsons (Fwd $150,000) being a likely candidate.
Timothy Smith (Fwd $150,000) is confirmed to be blooded against the cats.

Shags’ Watchlist
Only rookie debut in this game Sam Durdin (Fwd $150,000) is a bit of a stab in the dark rookie. I’m not confident with any north rookies this year after that first round, but hey some might want to take a punt. He was picked up as pick 16 for North so they clearly rate his talent.

Well done Andrew Gaff (Mid $610,000) owners. He has gotten off to a blinder and earnt a cool $46k already. If you have a mid premium injury like Steven, Gaff is one of those players you could easily switch to.

Shags’ Watchlist
Yes, there are two new rookie debuts in this game, but Im breaking with tradition by going with Clayton Oliver (Mid $488,000) with a BE of 14 he is a virtual cashcow that scores huge, and with 122 and 135 has absolutely got off to a blinder. Kid reminds me of Ollie Wines, and the dees just love having him in the guts, teammates even putting him down as a darkhorse for the brownlow.

Im genuinely surprised at Ollie Wines (Mid $616,000) ownership of only 1.61%. Hes gotten off to a solid start with 115 and 110, and honestly cant see why he cant keep scoring like that if not better. If you are looking for a POD I reckon he’s your man. Many are going for his younger twin brother Clayton Oliver, they are related right?

THis one should come as no surprise. Harley Balic (Mid/Fwd $150,000) has already been much talked about as a rookie to get, and many will grab him this week. Jeppa rates him very highly.

Shags’ Watchlist
Hugh McCluggage (Mid $246,000) was all the rage in the preseason, as much for his cool surname as his scoring potential. Pick number 3, and hence his hefty rookie price tag, hes back from injury and straight in the team. Some might be put off by his low scores over the JLT (limited TOG) and his price tag. But the kids a gun so some might take a punt. If he does score well this week he is almost instantly too expensive to get in.

Shags’ Watchlist
Lots were expecting Harry McKay to get a game, but we have Tom Williamson (Def $150,000) instead. I don’t think that’s a bad thing since we dont have any other cheap def rookies. He is a key defender and had 35 in his one hit out in the JLT. Only grab him if you are worried about rookie holes in the backline, and hoping he holds his spot. I’d watch for 1 week personally to see if can get a couple of consecutive games and potential to be a slowburn cashcow.

Shags’ Watchlist
Well those who started him would be bloody happy, and those who doubted that he would be as good at the hawks have looked to be proven wrong. Tom Mitchell (Mid $659,000) has started amazingly with 128 and 125, and many think he could go huge against the suns this week. If he does, he could become an Uber premium ($700k +) and possible be nigh on unreachable.
